I cannot believe IŌĆÖve not posted on here since June...thatŌĆÖs pretty bad isnŌĆÖt it?! I guess life has kind of taken over these last few months. So to get me back into the swing of Insta IŌĆÖve decided to join @joannehawker and play along with #marchmeetthemaker and day one of the challenge is fave to make which for me is currently this lovely quote from the Wizard of Oz. It may be to do with the lack of girlyness in our home or that fact I hate the winter but IŌĆÖm currently a little obsessed with rainbows ­¤īł

IŌĆÖm really excited to now be selling my prints at the Walter & May gift shop on Bishopthorpe Road in York! I was lucky enough to pop over on their opening weekend. ItŌĆÖs an absolutely beautiful little shop selling handmade items from so many independent makers! Well done Beth for working so hard to make this happen!! ŌØż’ĖÅ

I make all of my prints at home and they are printed on some lovely 310gsm textured fine art card stock and then printed using my trusty Canon Pixma.... . This little video shows a few prints which in real time took about half an hour...if only it was this quick!!!

Day one is **WHO** so here goes....a little bit about me!
... My name is Emily, I'm 37 and live in Leeds with my husband, two little boys Alfie & Max and two very slightly neglected cats.
I think this is my very first selfie..i hate photographs of myself and avoid when i can!
I started making typography prints and personalised gifts when I was on maternity leave in 2013. Whilst I was super busy with Alfie, it was nice to be away from my day job and I felt I had more time to think creatively, away from the never ending to do list at work.
Now all of my maternity leaves are over ­¤śó­¤śó I also work for an environmental charity part time as a business development manager.
I'm going to use this week to launch my new business name which I'm really excited and nervous about!! Until today my business has been called Sew in Love Gifts. I've never been completely happy with the name and so from today I've rebranded to become Little Bear Prints which i feel better reflects my prints and the direction I'd like to go in. I've been quite nervous about this so I hope it works out!
