Santa took a break from his busy schedule at Harestanes yesterday to surprise the kids at Ancrum Primary School.
Santa interrupted practice for the schools Christmas performance to read some Christmas stories and answer a lot of hard-hitting questions.
As you can see - the kids loved it and so did Santa!

Fantastic visits to Hawick Museum from Trinity Primary School this week. P6, p5 & p4/5 became art critics then learned about Steve Hislop, Jimmie Guthrie and Wilton Lodge Park as part of their transport topic. Big well done on great behaviour as well!

Santa’s Fun Run & Family Walk is back for a second year at Harestanes.
Santa’s Fun Run is just over 5km through the Harestanes scenic winter wonderland. We also have a shorter Family Walk option (1.5km) which is a great way to stroll around the route decorated by local school children.
Santa’s Fun Run - Registration 10:00, start time 10:30.... Family Walk - Registration 11:00, start Time 11:30.
Prices below includes a free hot drink for all participants in our café following the event.

The Teviotdale Leisure Centre Swimming Pool has been forced to close due to circumstances out of our control.
Swimming lessons this afternoon have been cancelled and we apologise for the inconvenience.
The Pool will reopen again tomorrow morning as normal.

Just joined Kelso Swimming pool membership classes are great and the instructers really keep you motivated. The myzone belt is perfect to help me train.

I visited the Jim Clark museum today and was amazed at the trophies and memorabilia on display, Jim Clark has to be one of the greatest racing drivers of all time. A great museum and well worth a visit.

Had my son's 5th Birthday party at queens leisure centre on Saturday. Thank you so much to all the staff for the amazing effort, they were very accommodating. Wonderful venue for a child's birthday party. Special thanks to Kanch for guiding me through the process and making everything clear �����
