We came yesterday for the bottomless brunch, for my birthday....

Wow!! Out of this world I cannot thank you enough! The service from booking the table to paying our bill at the end was second to none. Drinks were flowing which I was thinking before I came may have been slow due to it being ‘bottomless’ but it was such a fantastic time. Thank you again I cannot recommend this enough to anyone xx

User

They were great, I'd booked bottomless brunch but at the wrong one, they couldn't fit us in for bottomless brunch but gave us a discount on food and a free birthday cocktail for my friend, food is lush and the cocktails out of this world!

Large group of approx 25 pre ordered meals. All food was good , recommend sharing platter ( huge for 2). Nice venue , staff helpful & courteous. Drinks expensive but no other faults.

Came here last night for a Valentines meal with my partner. The food was delicious and the drinks were great. When we first arrived we were a little disappointed as we were expecting to be sat upstairs away from the hustle and bustle of downstairs (and had been told that is where we would be sat on our booking confirmation) but were sat downstairs just by the dj booth. Nevertheless we decided not to say anything as we had never been before and didn’t want to make a fuss. We ordered our food and were enjoying the atmosphere when the staff came over to apologise for a mix up that had taken place. We were told our mains had been prepared before our starter so they wanted to let us know they would be with us as soon as possible but there would be a slight delay. We were very happy with this as we hasnt even noticed there had been a long time between ordering our food and it coming out. Once we had finished with our meal we were presented with a lovely dessert as an apology for the mix up that had taken place earlier on! We were gobsmacked and very grateful. The dessert was also delicious! Overall, despite there being errors made (which we were initially oblivious to), we had a very enjoyable evening. The only reason why I have given 4 stars instead of 5 is because we were sat downstairs when I think we would have preferred to be upstairs and when we were paying our bill the waitress was texting on her phone!!!

Seen some very drunk ladies which one must have fell at least 3 times in the 40 minutes we were there , the bouncers just finding them funny dancing around like idiots knocking into people . If this had been lads they would have been kicked straight out , overall not a very nice experience . Will definitely be sticking too the merrion street one go in there quite often

Really like this place but couldn’t get served in a limited time available. Poor cocktail waiter was obviously on his first day & unfortunately I was in the wrong place. But no worries & no grudges held - we’ll be back!

I paid at the bar, so not to do the awkward bit with money with my company as it was a treat. I do this often, and have never in hundreds of places had any trouble.

Headed out a couple of minutes later, and the next moment I have one of the staff running up to me yelling out at me to get my attention, she is standing a distance away and asking me if I wanted to pay the bill.

When I told her I had paid, she disbelieves me and asks again in a patronising way if I am sure I have paid. I tell her I have paid at the bar.

She insists that I come back into the building with her, and walks behind of me as if I would run off, leaving my company for the evening staring in disbelief.

My company did not see me pay at the bar (my plan), as treating them, so it honestly looks like I had been caught trying to run away.

I remain cordial.

I walk back in, nod to the woman I paid.

And this is the worst part. No apology in the slightest.

The way it was handled was dreadful and embarrassing in front of my company.

In that situation, check first with the bar as you are next to them, before you accuse somebody. Also if tills linked, she should have checked and seen I had paid.

Quietly and discreetly ask. Stand with them.

Do not be patronising. Seriously ‘are you sure you have paid?’!

If you have a radio, then radio the bar, rather than walking the person back.

It is how you phrase things.

‘I am sure we can clear this up quickly, very sorry about this, but would you please come back with me as we sort out this confusion. Probably a computer error.’

Walk and talk with them as you go back in. Not behind of them.

And the biggest one, if you are wrong, then apologise to the couple. Do not stand there quietly as if it was fine.

Simply accept when you have it wrong.

I could forgive most of it, though she should have checked before giving chase and causing a scene.

But no personal apology at the end was just insulting.

They had run out of my starter, run out of the drink I wanted, and she tried to walk off with the olives when there was still some left. The food could also have also been hotter.

The food had some nice flavours, which takes it from one to two stars.

User

Very disappointed we wanted a girly night for my sisters birthday that we payed £150 for for our own space and some drunk lads came over and wouldn’t leave . So I told bouncers and they went . 10 minutes later they came back again told them again and we got chucked out for some reason . Really no point paying for a booth when any one can walk in and when complain Bouncers do nothing but rude to us .

User

Staff are rude and not accommodating. I have nothing nice to say about this bar. There are plenty of other, much nicer places to go around this bar. Especially if you are in a group!

User

Spent £150 on a booth for my birthday for young stupid lads to come and sit on it security did nothing very bad customer service they kicked us out when we complained ! Shocking !didn’t get to finish our drinks we paid so much for , will be complaining to management and asking for cctv footage looked at

User

Over half an hour on both occasions to get served on going to the bar twice and ignored by several members of staff.

Only stayed as it was my Sister's hen do.

We reserved a table and did not receive our waitress service which was included and our food never arrived.
