I have lovely memories of swallows.. when I found out I was pregnant me and my husband were on holiday in a tiny cottage in Devon. The unused barn next to us was home to hundreds of swallows and I loved their sweet chirpy company that week.
Once Ted was born I would watch them from our window dancing in the late summer evening sky and they would always calm me whilst I was thinking about what Ted had in store for me that night. I like to think they kept me company through my life changing journey into parenthood. ItвАЩs amazing how you can find support and comfort in nature. I will always love the little swallow.
IвАЩm working on another one today to include the cloud, sun and a rainbow (if it has survived last nights kiln firing that is). Both to be available mid-late Feb after my photoshoot рЯХКвЫЕпЄП

IвАЩm hoping today was my last day of glazing before my 2019 photoshoot in a few weeks time, itвАЩs jam packed with butterflies, violet roses and tiny leaf and stamen details. In other news IвАЩve finally made a start to my swallow headpieces and just finished one halo.. itвАЩs looking good, pictures to follow tomorrow once the sun comes back up рЯХКрЯ¶ЛрЯМњ

The happiest of New Years to you all. HereвАЩs to staying perfectly imperfect as we already are for yet another year. My only wish is to enjoy the healthy body and mind that so far 2019 has generously given me. Love to all рЯТР

As everyone else slows down for Christmas I have realised I am doing something wrong as IвАЩm just picking up the pace to get ready for my photoshoot in Feb. I have the longest list of to dos so Christmas will be spent making making making. And maybe the odd mince pie thrown in there to keep me going. Is anyone else out there working hard over the festive period?

Photoshoot all booked in for early Feb рЯТЂ I would have liked to have got it done this month but it turns out working with a toddler means youвАЩre not quite as efficient as you used to be рЯ§¶рЯПївАНвЩАпЄП рЯЩГ ..hereвАЩs one from earlier this year.. tiny porcelain poppies, buttercups and lush green leaves in ivory, lemon and gold рЯМЉ

Procrastinating at its finest... getting stuck in a repetitive task is for me similar to meditating, getting lost in the task and my mind empties. So more procrastinating for me this upcoming week please. But first a glass of red wine and a mushroom wellington рЯСМрЯПЉрЯШЛ
