Recently, a change in the DVLA’s process has meant that Volkswagen vans and similar that are converted into motorhomes/campervans, are now registered as a modified van instead of a campervan.
This has been affecting customers obtaining a bespoke campervan insurance policy as a number of insurance companies will not accept modified vans. However, we can confirm that we are still able to cover these types of conversions under our specialist cover regardless of what is issued on the log book.
