What an amazing day ,loved it , was great entertainment, an free ,

Maybe you do need bigger bar area, but I still give it *****

User

Opera was amazing, wine a tad overpriced £20 a bottle (having just paid £8.99 a Wetherspoons next door). Surprise of the evening was the plethora of underground toilets 👍

User

Love the venue, love the orchestra and loved the evening and event, even the rain didn't put me off. Queuing for the bar was a pain but hey ho great crowd and no unpleasantness-superb evening

User

It was a wonderful day and the atmosphere was fantastic. I agree a few more bars would be great especially for big events. Just complaint the drinks are totally overpriced!

User

I was indeed at Millennium Square! It's a waypoint on my morning walk and often there's an event of some sort. Yesterday I came across Fabian Hamilton MP about to set off on his charity cycle ride to Germany. I've also seen the Back To The Future car there, a Spitfire, and any number of music concerts and public events.

User

Had a good day. Good stage set up and clean open space with bars and food. Started on time with a happy crowd. No Heather Small as billed but Sonia closed the set at 2pm. Sun shone and security present but not oppressive. Lady Mayoress came on stage to address the crowd. A good day for Leeds and then the parade. Good atmosphere and more importantly showed how much more tolerant and cosmopolitan we are as a society. Hope reigns, very heartwarming.

User

Good fun for the kids not enough seats when it busy & I thought the beach was a bit small when it's busy the rides where just right over all I liked it & so did the kids

User

Excellent production - Back to the Future in concert. Agree with other comments that the food and drinks were expensive but to be honest, about what I expected. Certainly didn't distract from the great show

User

Absolute fantastic event so enjoyed the day the weather was good

User

Went for the Opera North evening The singing and music ere superb BUT £6 for a glass of proseco you're having a giraffe

User

Went to basics orchestra night. the gig itself was great better than i imagined. But the bar scenario is disgusting. An hour to wait in line for a beer. Come leeds you can do better. It has put me iff going back. Security said you couldnt go out and come back in. Can anyone explian why when i had my tickets in my hand. I did have a great night but could have been so much better

User

Not big enough on sand x hook a duck total rip off x

User

Great location, great staff & brilliant concert but you cannot charge £20 for a plastic bottle of warm, white wine! Yes, we could have decanted a chilled bottle into a jug but that's hardly practical! So, we had ice in our glasses which, of course, melts very quickly, certainly well before you pour the next glass. Concerts of all kinds have been held here now for several years & the feedback for the bar etc is always the biggest complaint. When are you going to listen to the paying public please?

User

3 Star is due to the seating, just to close and squashed, no space to put drinks/bags. Drinks got spilt (£6 for a Pimm's!) The cost of food and drink! £5.50 for a hotdog in a dry bun, £4.50 for a watery coffee.... Next time I will bring my own snacks.

I would give 5* to the entertainment! ( Back to the Future with the live Orchestra ) The Orchestra was amazing!

User

The bar situation was ridiculous....missed all the first half of the set queuing for a 20 quid bottle of wine. Volumn was also an issue, pretty dire from the bar queue. Shame as it's a lovely venue for a gig/show.

User

Need a lot more bars if you're going to put on more events like this. Queuing for over 50 mins for drinks is crazy - it takes you away from what you're there to do - enjoy the show! And £4.50 for a pint of lager/cider....greedy.

We couldn't even go out to a bar during the 30 min break to avoid having to queue for drinks because we were told we wouldn't be allowed back in....even with tickets? Get a stamp for future gigs and let us out if we want to go out!

The space is perfect for events like this but poor event management let it down.

Basics/symphonic gig itself was amazing but event poorly organised in my opinion. Please do it again - but prepare and manage it better next time

User

Came here last year for ocean colour scene concert. Same issue with bars then - missed half the concert queuing. I hoped they had learnt from that but obviously not - missed half the concert again in a 45 min queue and when you got to the front they had sold out of most things. Sound was terrible, could barely hear the orchestra which was a shame because there were some classic tunes.

Whoever organises these things at millennium square need to sort these things out for future events - its not good enough!

User

Came here last year but missed the entire first half of the event due to queuing to get a drink!

User

Was so looking forward to the back to basics gig even the crappy weather couldn't dampen our spirits.

But having to que for an hour for a beer was ridiculous and this did spoil the evening for us. Poorly organized
