Went yesterday for an impromptu date night - really friendly staff and amazing food . We ordered the butchers block sharer and it was amazing - well recommended by our server Evie - who was lovely ! � recommend 100% !

Went here tonight for my daughters birthday. The food was delicious, everyone enjoyed their choices, the decor is great and the service was brill. Our waitress Daisy, was unfazed by our ever changing and growing choices, she was polite, pleasant and attentive, you made our visit a joy Daisy, thank you �

Went here on Tuesday night with my wife. We both had rib eye steak and we both said it was the best steak ever... Great food great staff lovely decor.... we will definitely be going back... well done guys

We had a romantic lunch today ate from the fix price lunch menu the food was delicious the staff were attentive and the place looks amazing we will return it will become our number one lunch spot

I went to Miller and Carter last night with my partner and our 6 month old daughter and we had a lovely night. The food was fantastic, big portions and our waiter Mani was brilliant and really looked after us. While my partner was getting our little girl to sleep, Mani took his food and made sure it was kept warm and bought it back when my partner was ready. Fantastic service over all and will definitely be returning.

I booked a table for 14 people for a birthday celebration meal. Our waiter Sam was great, nothing was too much trouble. All the meals came out in a timely manner and the food was fantastic! We will definitely be going back.. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Evie was our host and she was a charm. waited patiently to my urms about what to order. helped me decide and got the best tasting steak ive ever had. 100% coming back.

Came here for my partners birthday as he's a big steak fan, first impressions on entering were good as all the staff were very polite & I can not fault the place all the dishes were great , we had the sharing platter which had a variety of tasty treats on & was a good portion to share. On the mains we had a sirloin and a ribeye both were delicious , the ribeye came a little bit too rare at first however it was no trouble for the staff they took it straight away and cooked one from fresh and accompanied it with fresh fries which we really appreciated. With it being my partners birthday the staff made the desert special with candles and sauces at my request and even added a sprinkle of glitter.

When the bill arrived the manager came over and told us he had taken a percentage off the bill to apologise for the steak not being cooked enough and for us waiting for our table however these seemed minor things to us so it was a lovely surprise and shows they really value their customers.

Will definitely be back! I must add all the staff were so polite and welcoming the managers, the waiting staff & especially one girl who came with the deserts she was most pleasant!

Birthday meal for Mum, food was amazing - 3 steaks all wonderfully cooked, lamb rump beautiful and 2 starters for Mum!! Best part of meal is Ellen our wonderful waitress, polite and friendly - excellent service.. would definitely recommend!!!

Arrived with friends we all had steaks the food was amazing. It was very busy but the staff looked like they were coping very well. The ambience was fantastic I am very impressed with the transformation of the the wood house.

Went out with my husband for a well overdue date night on Saturday night. First visit here. It was relatively busy but we had booked our table so were seated straight away. Lovely decor and lighting. We were served by Ellen who was pleasant all evening. We both had sirloin steaks which were cooked beautifully and exactly how we wanted. It would have been helpful at the start to have been asked had we been there before for then to be given some explanation of the menu like what the 'wedge' is and how the sharing dishes come but overall thumbs up from us both.

Went for a 21st birthday celebration. We were the first to arrive of our party of 10 and we were kept waiting 5 minutes or so at check in, even though they could see my partner was on crutches.... once seated the service was very slow.. the place was busy but not full to capacity. The food was lovely although one person's chips arrived a bit cold... we took a birthday cake in and it wasn't any problem for the staff to bring it out and lit the candles..... overall thoughts at this Miller and Carter.... nice but don't think would go again.

We arrived early on a Saturday evening for my daughter's birthday meal. First impressions were good, staff were friendly and we didn't have to rush to our table. Food wad great and they even brought prosseccoand ice cream for the birthday girl. Overall good night .will be back.

Really enjoyed our evening last night! Service was great, food was lovely and came really quickly, we were moved to the bar area after we had finished as they needed the table but we were given a round of free drinks which was very kind!

The only criticism I had was the first glass I was given wasn’t clean and still had lipstick on but they quickly changed it and the sanitary bin in the ladies toilet was over flowing but other than that we really enjoyed it.

Our 1st Meal at a Miller and Carter and my Son,Partner and our Grandsons all enjoyed the Experience.We choose of the Fixed price Menu and Kids Menu and was very impressed with Quality and Portion size.It wasnt too busy so food came quick but giving us chance to chat between courses.£13.75 i think it was for 3 courses early afternoon.Staff were Pleasant and we were asked after each course if everything was ok.Will no doubt be visiting again very soon.

Visited for our wedding anniversary The food, service & cleanliness absolutely spot on could not fault it.. the problem in this heat was the lack of air conditioning.. We ate last night about 7pm and there were lots of people wiping their brows with the serviettes and fanning themselves with menus. The windows and doors were all open but still no air at all. I was shocked that they didn’t have air con! Even fast food places do! Our clothes were stuck to us and we were so uncomfortable. it really did spoil our evening We both just wanted to get out of there and sit in the car with the air con on. What should have been a lovely anniversary meal was spoiled by been so hot and sweaty .

Our third visit and the first 2 visits were 5 star. Tonight we witnessed the guy on the desk be rude to the people in front because they hadn’t booked.

When we ordered, there were no meat on the bone options in stock in a steakhouse. Then the pudding I wanted wasn’t available, in isolation no issue.

As quiet as it was at 9pm, I had to wander across the restaurant to chase the bill and as we left we witnessed a couple leaving, as they were fed up of waiting at the desk and being ignored.

Can’t fault the food. We dined with friends, the table was prebooked & the waitress was very attentive & friendly. I order a bottle of Pinot Noir. I was asked if I wanted to taste & as it was a cork, I said yes. It was corked, so 2 other friends tasted it & they agreed. The Manager came over having tasted the wine & told us “Ive tasted it & it was perfectly fine” with the bottle still in his hand. So was he calling us liar’s? Maybe he should go on a course for customer care. He did ask if we wanted to change it & we chose a very nice Malbec. It left us all amazed at how he handled the situation!

The food was good. The service was poor. Waiter forgot that we had ordered more drinks, we had to remind him. Lack of communication, dishes placed down with no mention if sides were on route. Considering they forgot drinks left me watching to see what else they had forgotton. It was quiet... yet seemed to take ages for food to arrive. Wont be going again
