Mitchells Car Boot

We are the biggest, undercover Car Boot in Cumbria which means stall holders and browsers alike are guaranteed a successful outing every Sunday.

We have 230 individual trader pens approx. 2. 5 x 2. 5 metres each as well as an open market space for larger displays and sales of local produce including a weekly Farmers’ market.

STALL HOLDERS: Doors open from 6: 00am, pens are allocated on a first come, first served basis at £8 per pen with discounts for multiples. There is no pre-booking. Please bring your own tables.

FARMERS MARKET: We are currently developing the farmers market which specialises in home made produce (hygiene certificate is required). We also offer the use of a limited number of gazebos and at minimal extra cost opportunities for electrical connections. Block bookings are available which ensures a regular pitch for continuity. Price on application.

Current regulars in the farmers market include: A fruit and vegetable stall with pies and bread and three cakes and pastry stalls .

BROWSERS: Doors open 6: 45. There is a premium entry rate of £3 until 7: 30, then a special “Early Bird” rate of £1 per head until 8: 30 and 50p thereafter. Children go free with a paying Adult. Sorry no concessions. NOTE The premium entry rate will start on the 23rd April 2017.

ON SITE CAFE: Opens early for hot bacon sandwiches, full English breakfasts, teas, coffees and hearty Sunday lunches.
