We held a party here for my little boys 3rd Birthday. Even though it was a busy rainy bank holiday, the kids still had lots of fun, in particular the ball pit area and the ticket machine! The party room was perfect for little ones as was the food. The party host was on hand to answer all questions and to make it a special day! Thanks for a great day xx

User

Lovely soft play centre with really friendly and helpful staff. The ball vacuum toy was a favourite and the food was tasty and promptly served.

Just attended the lovely Georginas 4th bday party. Thanks to the planning of the parents & the amazing team at Monkey M my son had a faboulas time & felt included at meal time. My son is dairy & soya free & they catered well, great selection & above all they gave fab alternatives where necessary. Its rare to find places that truly cater for all so well. You've made a loyal customer of us today after our great experience. Thank you team MM & Georgia's parents

I visited today for the first time with my 4yo and 2.5yo. They loved it and screamed when they had to leave. They were both able to navigate the whole gym easily which meant they could play together making it easier for me to watch from a distance allowing them some independence.

The ball pit is great fun - not sure who enjoyed it more, me or the kids!

The option to buy jugs of cordial is fantastic.

I ordered a pizza with 2 sides (chips & garlic bread), came to about £9.50 but it fed all three of us. We were happy with the food.

Plenty of parking which is a godsend and the toilet facilities were clean (with a separate section With "kids" toilets -

We will be back again!!!!

I have very fond memories of monkey maze from growing up and attending with younger siblings and now I have my own children I have been bringing them on a regular basis. Since the refurbishment my son has been diagnosed as Coeliac, on the first visit I was nervous as I’ve had bad experiences at other soft play where he was left with no lunch options and very upset. Not here, I contacted the staff to check menu options and were presently surprised by the amount of options they had and how accommodating they seemed even offering to buy things in that he likes. On visit they cooked everything separate to avoid cross contamination and we left with a very happy child. As a result We visit very regularly usually at least once a week, the staff are very friendly and the kids always have lots of fun. Highly recommend

Having read the reviews before our first visit I was somewhat apprehensive about an already arranged play date at monkey maze. However I need not have worried! The place was great, the kids had a fantastic time whilst the mums relaxed and chatted l, comfortable in the knowledge that we could see the children from where were were sitting and they were enjoying themselves. The food and drinks were served quickly - the family platter was great value. We arrived in time for the Easter egg hunt which was well organised and each child got a little prize for taking part. The lady behind reception (sorry I didn’t get her name) was friendly, approachable and happy to answer our queries. Overall I would recommend this play zone.

User

Had my daughters 5th birthday party here. All the kids had a great time. The play area was very clean & tidy when we arrived and the staff were very friendly & helpful.

User

Excellent venue for children’s party.

Had my 4 years sons birthday party today and the staff and venue was excellent. Staff very professional, venue clean and tidy and well set out.

Food beautiful. Excellent service for the price. Well worth the money. Would recommend and will be Definitely be returning.

User

Anya had her 5th birthday party, and it was amazing!. Little touches such as the throne for Anya to sit on, the princess and pirate with us full time while they were eating food...and of course the monkey cubicle made it feel like a party rather than just taking some friend to an indoor play area! For me one of the better indoor play areas to have a party in! Thank you x

User

Amazing venue, reasonably priced packages great for the kids and takes the stress away of childrens parties for parents. Staff was brilliant very helpful and was very attentive. The lady organiser was brilliant when it came to helping me with my very shy little boy. I finally have a birthday cake and boy picture without tears!!! This is priceless

User

We visited for the first time to play today, it was very quiet and we like quite, the play structure was not too big and not too small, with a good mix of everything. My little girl is just under 2years and she was capable of doing most of it and We particularly liked the ball pool with the fun ball sucker!

It was clean and tidy as you would expect on a quiet day, the staff were friendly enough and plenty of seating for parents. The only down fall was it was extremely warm even on this cooler and quiet day and really needs air conditioning especially during summer months. I was boiling it became uncomfortable even with windows open!

Overall we would return and enjoy again.

I went to monkey maze today with my three boys and to meet a friend and her daughter. The place is always spotless and I saw lots of very thorough cleaning of tables. I was most impressed too, that one of the staff noticed I was nursing my 4 week old baby, and as it was a hot day was considerate enough to spontaneously bring me a glass of water over. The kids had a great time, the only reason I haven't given 5 stars is that my son wasn't a big fan of the homemade houmous (and he likes houmous). Thanks Monkey Maze x

User

new play frame is fab kids loved it esp the vacuum in the ball pit, the toilets and stuff are great also but seating area is horrible and chaotic yes it was busy but them old circle tables dont help what so ever they need to go asap no order to the seating area at all, was the worst point by far, and was so disappointed the meal deal n play gone as that was a fab deal and makes it easier and more affordable to parents of more than one child to play and eat. £4.50 for a 1year old is way too steep altho with a meal deal i would be more than happy to pay that.. the refurb looks better but the price is over the top for under 2s, the change to menu and seating area let it down

User

We've been to the new monkey maze today and the gym is great our children are 1 and could easily get round I would say it's not for older children probably 5/6 max

We paid £4 for a one year old which I think is very expensive for a soft play. we go to lots of play areas on a regular basis and usually pay around £2 max or £5 with a meal included

The good it's self wasn't great I had a jacket potato and the skin was rock hard and very hard to cut up I also found the food to be over priced too

The staff were very friendly and we're constantly cleaning which was great to see however we won't be returning on a regular basis are its overall too expensive

User

The new climbing area is ok, the little ‘hard to see’ rooms at the back on the ground floor are prime spots for older children to get territorial and exclude smaller kids. A few different visits, I’ve noticed a few littler ones crying or being ganged up on when they try to get into the area with the large spheres at the back. Maybe the age grouping isn’t right yet? However my nearly-3 year old loves it and the ball pool is fantastic! I just watch her like a hawk if she ventures into the back downstairs.

The big open conservatory area is really nice. It’s all so much cleaner and airier than it was and will be nice in the summer.

My biggest challenge is the food and the tables. The food is shockingly bad, so unhealthy and expensive and what’s with the full grapes in the fruit boxes (the only healthy option on offer)??? When I asked the 3 staff behind the till about the grapes, they all shrugged and said ‘no idea about that’ and really didn’t know that you cannot let under 5s have full grapes. I then had to try cut them up with a butter knife as they wouldn’t lend me a sharper one or cut them up for me. I found this bizarre and somewhat worrying! It would be nice to get a warmer welcome too - I’ve often been met with rather grumpy, too-much-trouble response.

The tables are just too small to support parents trying to sort out their children, store shoes/bags/coats and feed them, may be have a coffee themselves. It’s chaos and doesn’t make the most of the lovely new ‘conservatory’. Long benches/tables would be fab - accommodate more people and space.

It’s got great potential though.

User

Love how fresh everything is and the kids loved the new ball tubes. Really really disappointed with the pricing of food though, a panini nearly £4 and that is literally it on a plate, I think things need to be added for example a little side salad or crisps - it really wouldn't cost the business much expense. Staying on the point of food, one meal was piping hot and the other clap cold, I also understand it gets very busy but having only 2 people on serving is ridiculous, especially when waiting 20 mins in a line with a baby, when a few only wanted a drink. I think this revamp was focused more on what looks good rather than the service

User

Having been coming to monkey maze for years (and having worked there as a teenager myself!) I was really looking forward to taking the kids to the new Monkey Maze. We were impressed with the new gym, aimed at a younger audience (6 and under perhaps?) but that suited us. We felt our 2 year old could safely navigate all of the main gym which meant that losing the great under 3's area of old wasn't such a blow. I have to say though that the food was a real let down. We paid nearly £6 for a hot meal which was 1 pizza slice, a spoon full of spaghetti hoops and a handful of chips with a fruit shoot, more appropriate pricing in line with the other soft play's would have been around the £3.50 mark. Similarly soup cost £4.50!! We're in garforth not London! The food used to be one of the main draws for us, the paninis with side salad, crisps and coleslaw were great value and the other half used to love the breakfast with coffee included! My advice would be go for a play but make sure you eat elsewhere.

User

This is the second time I’ve been here and yet again you see big kids in the under 2’s section and it’s just unsafe my 13 month daughter was hit in the face with a ball by an older kid, parents don’t supervise their kids and the staff aren’t bothered either, even when they’re told big kids are in the baby area they don’t do anything about it. I’ve been here twice and each visit has been disappointing I won’t be going again. If you have a young infant under 2 I definitely wouldn’t recommend bringing them here.

User

The amazing new Monkey Maze has taken us months of planning, designing and building and we’re finally there!

It’s half the size,of the old maze?

The Cafe is absolutely appalling,£7.70 for a cheeseburger, the burger was hard around the outside,I took it back and asked has this cheeseburger been microwaved

“yes”

Can I have my money back please?

“Yes sure” just standard practice

Others near us also took food back which included......

Microwaved bacon sandwich

Microwaved chicken burger all went back . What happened to an oven? As a part child care establishment... why not include the maze for award winning meals?!?
