I am British Horse Society, ABRS and TBA qualified and fully insured, I offer a firm but gentle approach to the correction of behavioural issues.

Mookaite offers introductory face to face assessment of horse and rider combinations to discuss problems or behaviours that need to be addressed.
Mookaite offers lessons in your own place on your own horse with BHS and ABRS qualified and insured instructor Catherine Holt. So whether you are working on your first trot steps or your first half pass Catherine is full of ideas and lesson structures to compliment most riders so if you are a nervous rider or lost your confidence or just getting back on after a long break we can help you with the necessary steps to make sure both mind and body are ready with confidence and patience to ride again. Catherine has also taught exam students; working up to (and passing) BHS Stage 4, including elementary dressage, discovery and BE90 courses.
Mookaite also offer assistance to get a horse ready to be ridden, full of helpful advice on lunging and long reining, laying over and just being that extra pair of hands needed when dealing with youngsters. Advice can also be given on feeding, management and tack fit without making the owner feel inadequate ensuring the partnership between horse and rider is enjoyable. We can also teach you how to do lateral work from the ground either in hand or on lunge lines.
