With the recent snow, we cant help but throw back to Chrsitmas when we should of had some!
Before long we will be shopping again for Chrsitmas 2019. We hope you are all having a great day!
We are currently looking for a hair dresser to visit the home once a week to cut our residents hair. Due to the nature of the home some residents are nursed in bed, therefore experience in cutting and washing hair in bed is desirable. It can be challenge to cut hair in bed, however we are looking for someone positive, self motivated and willing to help and support our residents in their hair dressing needs and requirements.
You must be able to provide and bring your own equip...ment with an option of hair dyes as well for those who wish to have their hair coloured.
We also require you to have an enhanced DBS. If you are on the update service we will be able to access your DBS online. However due company policy, if you are not on the update service we will require you to fill out a new DBS form online.
WHEN
On our activities weekly programme, we are routinely down for the hair dresser to attend every Wednesday from 1 pm - 4 pm. However for the right candidate we are willing to move this to another day in the week.
PAY
We have a set cost which the home is customary to charging residents at, however we respect it is your job and you will have your own pricing list. We are happy to sit down and to discuss prices for all the services provided.
Due to the nature of the home we are unable to guarantee how many people you will be attending to on a weekly basis. One week you may see to 6+ residents where the next week you may only see 2 residents. However your services will go a long way to make our residents day.
If you are interested in the position and feel as though you have the required skills and experience, we would love to hear from you.
Please contact Lee (Activities Coordinator) at the home on 0113 266 9991.
