Next week its the Meanwood Beer Festival 2018, sponsored by Parklands Estate Agents, a fantastic event organised on behalf of Meanwood Valley Partnership, with the help of Myrtle Tavern Meanwood & Alfred Bar & Meanwood Matters ensuring Meanwood has a portfolio of varied events.
Now in its 4th year, this year we were kindly asked to host it at the brand new Holy Trinity Meanwood Parochial hall, and w...e look forward to sharing a glass with the Vicar, and a huge thanks to Brian for sorting out the venue.
This year its only £4 entry, which includes a commemorative glass to take home, once entry has been gained theres 24 beers to choose from, 5 ciders + a gin bar.
On both evenings there will be live entertainment, on a low-key foot tapping style level, and the kitchen will be serving up pulled pork sandwiches (+vegi options tbc).
On the Saturday between 2 - 5pm, well behaved children will be allowed to attend with parents, North Leeds Mumbler News Page.
Please show your support this year, so we can ensure this becomes a stable event for years to come.

What a fabulous evening we had to celebrate the end of SATS - no better pub ❤️❤️

User

We recently had our son's baptism party here, we hired the lovely beer garden and had a BBQ for all our guests. Scott and his team were really helpful and happy for us to drop food off the day before, they even put up our bunting for us. The food on the bbq was excellent quality and the vegetarian option was a particular hit! Many of our guests commented on the food and the venue and what a lovely afternoon they had. The outdoor playground and wendy houses were popular with the children and allowed the adults to relax and enjoy themselves. We would definitely recommend the Myrtle Tavern to anyone wanting a venue for a special occasion.

User

The gin night Saturday 31st March was a great night. Tasting 4 gins with different fever tree tonic and small samples of chilli,(really good and would definitely buy a bowl of that) chocolate brownie and white chocolate mousse. Value for money and we really enjoyed it. Very well done

Thank you to the management of Myrtle Tavern Meanwood for putting on the Whitney Tribute event last night. The atmosphere was great, the crowd was great, the people were great and friendly. Well done Myrtle Tavern.

Nice welcoming cosy atmosphere. A sold out event so some of the locals were unfortunately displaced for the event. Great host and very attentive bar staff serving well kept beverages.
