The 12th of April marks the passing of Grand Shaykh, Khwaja Sufi Muhammad Aslam rahimahullah. He migrated to England in 1963, and worked tirelessly for over 20 years in propagating the love of Allah ﷻ and His Messenger ﷺ. He changed the hearts of thousands, taking the youth from streets and in to the houses of Allah ﷻ. Two decades have passed since he left for the eternal abode, yet his work still continues throughout Europe and the Western World.
When he (r) left for the et...ernal abode, countless individuals and families approached the students of Grand Shaykh (r), enquiring about his state and wellbeing. Learning of his passing, they became sorrowful, explaining that Grand Shaykh (r) provided them with their daily necessities. His students spent over two decades with him, yet were unaware of the countless families he was selflessly providing for on a daily basis. This is the legacy of Grand Shaykh (r); his work was to serve the people, relieve the destitute and heal the broken hearted. This is the true essence of Sufism! To endure pains in order to remove the pains of others.
May Allah ﷻ raise his ranks and give us the ability to remain steadfast upon the deen.

Al-Numan bin Thabit, commonly known as Abu Hanifa, is considered the founder of one of the four schools of Islamic legal knowledge (Fiqh). He is also widely known as Al-Imam Al-Aẓam (The Great Imam) and Siraj Al-Aimma (The Lamp of the Imams).
The Great Imam was the first to set out the principles of Fiqh as we have them today for all of our worship and needs in the matters of deen. He had met many of the Sahaba and is regarded as a Tabieen.
The Great Imam was very pious, sp...oke little, answered questions only when he knew the answer and reflected greatly on his thoughts. He was gifted with a great intellect. He was known to look at things in different perspectives, and for his rational outlook.
We can learn many valuable lessons from the life of Imam Al-Azam and we ask Allah ﷻ to constantly guide us. Ameen
