Butternut squash and feta salad with pine nuts and capers, (because every salad should have capers!)
I absolutely love butternut squash 😍 I roasted todays for an hour at 180 degrees with olive oil, sea salt, black pepper and fresh rosemary 🥗

I love an excuse to buy new stationary and the start of a new year is always a good excuse, (how cute is this diary from @frompaperchase by the way?! 🍋) to pick some up!
I have a little routine on January 1st where I take a few minutes to transfer dates across into my new diary and schedule deadlines for any goals I’ve set myself.
... I think a big part of feeling a bit of a failure last year was because my goals were a little vague and I had no real way of knowing if or when I’d achieved them, (which is the exact same thing I tell clients off for doing... 🙈)
This year when you set your goals, don’t just write a list of random things you want to do, be specific with what you want to achieve and break them down into how you’ll achieve them and by what date. This way rather than having a random list of vague things you’d quite like to do you’ll have an action plan with deadlines instead!

I’m not normally much of a drinker as I find it affects my mood over the following days but last night I vaguely recall helping @e19_erl empty three bottles of Prosecco after I’d been on gin. Also pretty sure I drank my first shot in about 5 years?
It’s not big and it’s not clever, today will be spent mostly on the sofa with last night’s makeup smeared on my face binge watching a new tv show and eating crisps 😂🥂🍹

Tonight’s dinner at Zizzi consisted of the three cheese fondue followed by the super zucca salad because I physically could not face eating anything heavier after living off chocolate and cheese for a week 😂 We eat here fairly often as they have a good range of gluten free food and it always comes with a reassuring little yellow sticker - I get the Pinoli pizza usually which is amazing but tonight I was actually craving vegetables 🥒🥬🥦🥕🍅

Christmas Day breakfast for us consisted of soft boiled eggs and avocado on toasted ciabatta, (first time having these from @scharglutenfreeuk and they were lovely), plus some streaky bacon for @e19_erl.
This has been our second Christmas in our lovely home and this is one of the traditions we’ve started, (whereas it was always a bacon sandwich when I lived with my parents). Another tradition we’ve started is having an Indian takeaway and a bottle of champagne on Christmas E...ve 🥂🎄✨

Found a hidden gem in @humblelotustattooandcoffee today! There were three different flavour gluten free brownies available but I opted for the dark chocolate and raspberry, (it’s dairy free too), which was absolutely amazing. Great coffee and dog friendly which was a huge bonus and the shop itself is lovely - I think we’ve found a new weekend spot 😊 #coeliac #glutenfree #coffee #dogmum

Hands up who loves fish and chips? 🙋‍♀️
It’s something I love but never crave until someone mentions it and then I get a bit of a sad on as the only good gluten free fish and chip shop I’ve found so far is in Brid!
That is until my lovely other half found this hidden treasure during one of her googling sprees and we headed over this afternoon while we were in the area. The fish and chips here were everything I could have ever wanted and more - would definitely recommend 😍 #glutenfree #coeliac #fishandchips

I was kindly sent these @markomilkuk gluten and dairy free cheesecake bars by @musclefooduk to try and I’m pretty impressed! There’s a range of different flavours but the creme brûlée and coconut are my favourites and they actually taste like cheesecake filling 😍 They’re small enough to chuck in your bag for a quick snack but sweet enough so you only need one. Apparently they freeze well too and can be eaten as a frozen treat but it’s been far too cold to try that yet! 🍦🍦🍦

Planned to make salmon salad for tonight’s dinner but ended up ordering @pizzahut and drinking wine instead.
