If you pick up a copy of the Daily Mail today, you'll see a piece about one of our incredibly brave patients, Jeff.
Jeff suffered from Trigeminal Neuralgia, otherwise known as 'suicide disease'. Thanks to our facilities, experienced surgical team and highly skilled surgeons as well as our intensive care unit, Nuffield Health Leeds Hospital is one of only a very few private hospitals outside of London that can surgically treat this illness.

This is the lovely Emily from our self pay enquiry team.
The self pay team handle all sorts of enquiries from potential patients who are paying for treatment themselves (as opposed to having health insurance). When your health isn't at it's best, naturally you can be worried and anxious. Having a helpful, supportive person on the other end of the phone makes all the difference. One such patient was so grateful for Emily's help, they sent her this lovely bunch of flowers and chocolates. Well done Emily!
If you have a self pay enquiry, please reach the team on 0113 388 2111 - lines are open between 8am - 5pm Mon - Fri.

My mum had an op here yesterday. She did not know if was going to turn into a major op until she was in theatre but in the end it has turned out to be a minor procedure. All the staff are wonderful & are always popping in to check if she needs anything. She has been looked after very well. All amenities here are excellent for both patient & visitors. Special thanks to Karen for her nursing care & Miss Langdon for her excellent surgical procedure which has so far resulted in mum not having any pain after the op.

User

Just returned home after having surgery yesterday and I don't think I could have been looked after any better. From the minute I was met on arrival, to my consultant Mr Sue-Ling and his team, the ward nurses and doctors, the theatre team, porters and catering staff, a huge 'Thank you'! The hospital itself is spotless and has the feeling of being more like a hotel. So grateful.

User

Just had a small procedure at the Nuffield , professional as always , All staff were very polite & professional...reassuring & kind .... thank you . Would highly recommend this Leeds Nuffield Hospital, definitely 5 star treatment...

User

I was transferred in from an NHS hospital flat on my back on Friday tea time, Mr Timothy the back specialist came to see me Friday evening, arranged a detailed scan Sat morning, and over the weekend all the staff were superb, more like a 5 star hotel than a hospital! Treatment arranged for Tuesday, by people who stayed late after a full days work, and I could leave on Wednesday. Absolutely superb in every way, but the staff and culture are amazing. If I need medical treatment I won’t go anywhere else! Thanks very much.

User

Had foot surgery under the care of Mr. Tulwa, yesterday. I was an nhs patient & on Ingleborough ward as a day case. Everyone was friendly & professional. There was a particularly kind & helpful health care assistant on the ward. I'm afraid I can't recall her name, but she was lovely. I thank everyone, despite being in a lot of pain today . I wish everyone, whether in nhs hospitals, or private care, got the same top class treatment. Many Thanks.
