Carol Osborne Has now joined OCS Ltd as part time book keeper and full time director

This is our current project in Emley. The outer shell is complete and all sealed up ready for the internal works to commence. This is a particularly challenging project due to the family living in the house as the internal work proceeds but with careful planning and a little bit of patience i'm sure it will all go well.

We at OCS Ltd are continuing to complete small and large projects. Our trusted team of Gary Osborne and Robert Dearnley are always on hand for any advice on all projects. We have expanded our team to include a new bricklaying apprentice in Eddie Gill. Eddie has now been in our employment for over a year and has already completed his NVQ 2 in one year which was a two year course. He has enroled for his NVQ 3 this year and is already well ahead in his class, this is down to his eagerness to learn which is a credit to him. We are investing in our future as a company and with Eddie we have a bright future as he is learning his trade the traditional way from an experienced Bricklayer/stonemason in Robert

Whilst I have been project managing a multi million pound project at Victoria Gates our project team of Robert Dearnley and Eddie Gill have also been busy building and helping to run smaller projects for OCS Ltd. We were chosen as the main contractor for a full renovation of a Bungalow in Barnsley for a lovely family. It was a turnkey project which meant we had to organise the renovation down to the last details so that all the family had to do was move their furniture in aft...er being handed the keys back. The project was in fact a disabled adaptation, due to the clients accident but the brief was for it not to look like a disabled adaptation as the client had a determination to live a normal life. I think that after seeing the finished photos we have managed to acheive that goal. the project was finished on time and within budget. This was achieved despite the bad weather of last winter and the determination of the team. By adding the two large rear extensions and plenty of glass walling there was an abundance of natural light. We worked with Acropolis design who provided the architecture for this truly amazing project

Site all set up with health and safety at the forefront. Plot 3 coming along nicely and the stone is looking good.

1st plot being excavated at Cartworth moor. This has now been passed off by Premier Guarentee the warranty providers and the concrete has been poured. The foundation blocks are now being walled in preparation for the block and beam flooring.

A total renovation of a local property. We removed an internal wall and installed a new steel girder to form an open plan kitchen/lounge. A new bathroom was installed and the property was decorated throughout. A single storey extension that was fitted in to a tight space at the rear of the property. The brick match was perfect and the extension looked as if it was always there. The customer could not believe that we had created a useable room in such a tight space and was also happy that we had completed the project under budget and within the agreed timeframe.

A double storey extension in kirkheaton that posed some difficult decisions with regards to the roof structure that ran in to the existing house and dormer window. With an existing purlin in the way and having to reduce the size of the window in the dormer. All was solved and passed off by the building inspector. Once again we had overcome any problems during the course of the build

We were contacted about a retaining wall that was failing. Upon inspection it was realised that it was a large wall of approximately 4 metres high and about 5 metres wide. We contacted our structural engineer Dr David Hill who undertook the necessary calculations to come up with the most cost effective design to suit the customer. We completed the project under budget and with the help of David

Osborne construction have been busy over the last few months. This project involved propping up the corner of an existing double storey extension so two new bifolding doors could be fitted that opened in to an existing conservatory. This was to gain more light in to a dark sitting room. We also altered an existing chimney base to form a inglenook fireplace. In the garage we constructed a new utility room all done under careful scrutiny of the customer

Very reliable, done some good work!

Our garden was a total mess, Gary has done a brilliant job extending our driveway, by block paving it, chopping the hedge down and building new walls ect. He is hard working, gives attention to detail and tidy. I would recommend him to anybody! I just love it, thank you Gary!

Has done some great work and does it in no time, he's a good builder!!

Gary did some work in our house earlier this year and he and his team are fantastic. We were really pleased with the result and on the strength of this we are now talking to Gary again about another, major project we are planning for next year. I would highly recommend OCS Construction Services.

Gary ( OCS) recently completed a single story extension on the back or our house to a very high standard, During the build there were some issue beyond his control but gary always made sure he kept me informed, all my special requests were implemented with a real eye for detail.

Both Gary & Rob are pleasant and easy to deal with and always made sure the site was clean and tidy.
