Olive & Rye is the vision of chef /owner Joe Hepworth and his amazing team who strive to supply the people of Leeds with a quality retail and dining experience in the heart of the City.
Situated in the amazing Queens Arcade Olive & Rye supplies an extensive cheese, meat counter full of amazing local and homemade produce not only to be enjoyed on the premises but also to take away and enjoy at home.
An ever changing take away lunch menu, ideal for a quick bite while on the go. Floor to ceiling shelves stacked with locally sourced, jams, chutneys, wines, beers and foodie gifts for all tastes can also be made into one of our bespoke hampers built to order. Olive & Rye really is a food lovers paradise.
Alongside the amazing deli store Olive and Rye also has a 44 seater Café /Restaurant area serving, Brunch, Lunch and small plates, wines by the glass and amazing coffee by the guys at Dark Woods Coffee Roasters. Every Month we hold one of our amazing Olive & Rye evenings where our customers can come along and enjoy a multi course tasting menu lovingly and expertly produced by our in house chefs and on occasion guest chefs from around the country.

I recently discovered this fabulous place - what a find. First visit, i had halloumi salad - really tasty. Second visit, went with hubby and our two dogs Ben and Jet. Met up with my son also later on. All the staff are really friendly. The food is excellent - I had the vegetarian platter. There is a fine selection of wines and beers. I bought some of the rye bread to take home, which i highly recommend. Next visit I will be along with one of my friends to sample the gorgeous looking cakes !!!

Fabulous place we came across when we were in Leeds visiting our son at Uni there. Friendly, accommodating helpful and not fussed when I wanted to change the menu suggestion. Food was yummy delicious and nicely presented. Decent coffee and the cakes looked great. Hope you visit and enjoy.
