Pdcalligraphy Description
Our most recent commissions have been for weddings and birthday parties. We have supplied place cards, table names and table plans for several weddings and have even fulfilled an order for design and creation of birthday invitations.
We can accommodate for any size occasion, from one to any number of guests. We do request that larger occasions require a reasonable notice period.
Bespoke and Beautiful
Whether you have an idea of what you would like your finished article to look like, or you are looking for inspiration, we are here to help. Our aim is to make your occasion as beautiful and as unique as you can imagine it to be. We will be adding templates to this website in the near future which can assist you in choosing your final design.
100% handmade
All of our calligraphy items (and embellishments where possible) are hand made. Where a full design and create service is requested, a printing service is can be offered or the final design can be emailed to you to print and send back for the calligraphy to be added.
We can also vary our offering from traditional fonts, to more alternative options, or even to suit a theme if you have chosen one.

At some point in 2012, my friend Heather asked me to hand-write some place settings for her upcoming wedding in June of that same year. I'd never done anything like it before, but being a bridesmaid, and an all round crafty person, of course I said yes!
I still have my place setting (although it's a little worse for wear these days! ¤ś¼) and shortly after her wedding I decided to take up Calligraphy as a hobby.
I started getting requests for similar items for friends weddings,... and then friends of friends, family colleagues and even further afield. In 2015 I started keeping folders on my computer of people I had done designs for and since then I've been lucky enough to offer a small part to weddings/birthdays/anniversaries (and even Yorkshire Day) to over 150 couples and businesses!
I'm really overwhelmed by the faith that people all over the UK and even as far as America (Denise Argondizzo Cattano) put in me when they ask me to contribute to what is often the biggest day of their lives.
So to all of you who have come before, and all who are yet to come (I hope!) thank you from the bottom of my heart for your trust in this little lady in Yorkshire!

Despite the best efforts of Consultant Surgeons at Walsgrave Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries and passed away in the early hours of 8th August 2017. Around Christmas time, I purchased this lovely little stamp from notonthehighstreet.com and I've actually remembered to ask a customer if I can use it!
Carla very graciously allowed me to put my stamp on the back of her 40 order of services. She gets married to her dreamboat James this weekend, so next week I should be able to show off the full range of items I was lucky enough to create for her big day!
