The Potting Shed - Guiseley made their first donation yesterday from the sales of Pippa's West Coast Pale. Over 200 pints sold in the first two weeks of it being on sale!

So here it is! . Pippa’s West Coast Ale is our new charity beer, brewed by the awesome Stod Fold Brewing Company in Halifax. For every pint sold, 20p is donated to Pipsqueak's – helping support neonatal units in Yorkshire. . Pippa’s Hill aka Hawk Hill in San Francisco is a very special place to us, especially my Dad. He never got to meet her which still upsets me to this day – but this is his go-to place to be with her. We scattered some of her ashes up there, and she blew aw...ay in the wind overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge. The view is stunning, it’s so peaceful and beautiful – the perfect place for Pippa to fly free in the wind. . I’m so pleased with the artwork and the inclusion of the Golden Gate Bridge, a gentle nod to our family’s special place in the world. . Thank you to everyone at Stod Fold Brewing Company for helping and supporting us. . The “First Pour” event for the beer will take place at 7pm on Monday 25th February, at The Potting Shed in Guiseley. Come along, everyone’s welcome.

The "First Pour" of our new charity beer will be on Monday 4th March at The Potting Shed in Guiseley. Pippa's West Coast Pale will become the new 'House Beer' at the venue - with 20p from every pint donated to our charity.
We let her fly in the wind above the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, and with this beer being an American West Coast Pale, it's a perfect way honour our darling Pippa.

Now 2019 is in full swing, it's about time we kick started our fundraising for the year. . Today @mama_twinchett and I have been laying out our plans and initiatives for our little charity. . Our first goal is to be able to supply parents on neonatal wards with a Care Package. It'll be available to those families who are likely to have long stays in the NICU next to their babies. We'll fill each box with lots of essentials, help and support for their stay on the unit.... . One of the little items we're looking at including in the package was planned out today with Crayola's and a notepad. Last year, we managed to get a brewery to put together a small amount of beer to sell, which we named Pippa's Pale Ale and we raised a little for the neonatal ward at Leeds General Infirmary.
This year, we've got another brewery involved. I've worked with these guys for years and their beers are fantastic. They've put together an American West Coast Pale ale, which again we'll call Pippa's Pale Ale. A gentle nod to the West Coast where we let Pippa's ashes fly free one year ...ago.
This beer should be available in selected bars in the coming weeks, I'll let you know where and when. Each pint will stick 20p in our pot! So, get suppin'!

Come and join us at #TEAMPIPPA HQ in Leeds on the morning of Sunday 12th May. We're going to be having a coffee & cake morning outside in the garden raising a little bit of money for Pipsqueak's.
We've got some amazing people running the Leeds Half Marathon for us at the same time, so bring you cheering voices with your as we cheer them on as they run past our home.

We've set Pipsqueak's up so we can help support neonatal units around Yorkshire, and more specifically the families who have to spend time on those units.
We're going to be hosting events and challenges throughout the year, where our aim is to raise £20,000 for 2019!
Our first event planned in is the Leeds Half Marathon. We're looking for people who want to join in with #TEAMPIPPA and raise some money in Pippa's honour. The route goes right past our family home, where we'll a...lso be having a coffee & cake morning for the supporters who line the streets cheering you on.

Hello to all of our followers. As it's #InternationalDayOfCharity we'd thought we let you get to know who we are and why we're here. We know a lot of you will know our story already, but for those that don't, we'd thought we'd bring you up to speed. . This is Pippa, or Pipsqueak as we liked to call her - hence the name of our organisation. We set this up as a tribute to her. . Pippa was born on August 15th 2017, at 12:08pm alongside her twin sister, Penelope. Pippa's life was... cut short after only 4 and a half months, due to liver failure. The girls had a relatively straight forward neonatal journey, and were cared for brilliantly by the teams at the Jessop Wing in Sheffield and St James' in Leeds. They were both discharged after 8 weeks and we were the happiest family on earth. . Pippa sadly fell ill little over a week after coming home and was rushed to Leeds General Infirmary. She was readmitted to neonatal due to her size, and spent several weeks in intensive care. The team at Leeds tried everything to help her. They fed her, cleaned her, changed her, loved her. . After 10 weeks of fighting, Pippa's battle came to an end. . Pippa's journey can be read in full on our website: www.pipsqueakscharity.com . With Pipsqueak's, our mission is simple. We're looking for participants to run the Leeds Half Marathon for Pipsqueak's and help us raise money for neonatal wards in Yorkshire!
The Half Marathon route brings you right past Pipsqueak's HQ where #TEAMPIPPA will be out cheering you on. Heading our Half Marathon team will be Mama Twinchett, Hannah.
