What a great place!! Lovely cafe, staff are so polite and friendly, great way to kill a few hours. I love places where you can join in the fun with the kids, not just sitting watching them play. Roller skating for a couple of hours was a great work out!! The entrance fee and boot hire is very reasonable, ┬Ż32 for 2 adults & 2 kids, and there is no time limit on your visit. There is also a great little soft play area for the little ones (up to 10 yrs), so the kids can skate or play. I would definately recommend Playworld ’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į

Went to the Retro Night in June with 7 friends and had a right laugh! Most hadn't skated for years, one hadn't at all! Really impressed with the buffet, plenty of food and the price was very good value for money. Would definitely recommend attending the over 18's nights if you can, we will be back!!

We had our son's Birthday party here and couldn't be more pleased. He had a great time and we were really happy with the venue. The party host, Lauren P, really went above and beyond for us. Very happy to recommend them and we'll be going back.

We had my daughter's 13th birthday here and it was fantastic. The kids had a great time, the staff were super friendly and the food was great. Will definitely be coming back. Thank you for making it a special day!

I have travelled from Bolton and popped into playworld and am so so happy I did! My daughter and friend loved it!! We usually go play factor at Manchester which is much more expensive and food no where as good.

Amazingly clean, very smart and helpful polite staff and excellent facilities all fun and laughs had. Thanks guys and see u again very soon­¤æŹ­¤Å╗

Great place for kids and adults of all ages with the soft play area and the roller skating. Prices reasonable, place kept as clean as possible and found the staff extremely helpful and friendly. Only complaint music really loud but guessing the kids love that. I would definitely (and have) recommend Playworld

First ever visit to playworld. Definitely wouldnt be the last. 3 hours well spent. My nephew loved it. We all decided to have lunch too which went down well .. Staff very friendly and attentive especially the chap on the rink who rushed over every time someone fell to help them back up!

We visited yesterday during May half term. There was plenty of seating available which was surprising, although it did fill up over lunch. The food was wonderful and everything was very clean. My only issue was with the volume of the music - it was excessively loud for people not skating and trying to hold a conversation. Also I thought the genre of music was inappropriate for young children and one song even had swearing in it! Overall a good experience and would come back.

This was our first visit. My kids loved it here and thankfully it was quiet. I would go again but if busy I'd just leave! The walk ways are very narrow and when people stand in them chatting or leave prams/car seats in the isle it's hazardous trying to get round them (even if they try to move them there isn't really anywhere to go). Found it good value for money, the staff were pleasant. I wasn't impressed at the lack of toilets, for such a big place they're right at the back of the building meaning you have to leave kids unsupervised for longer. I would recommend going and trying it out. Places like this don't suit everyone but the skating fasciitis are good.

The playarea and skating rink are good. But my daughter and her friend are too old to use the soft play as they are over 10 but they don't do a skate only price but do do a soft play only price as under 4 can't skate. Its wrong. Also drinks are extortionate. Food isn't a bad price but the bread was so dry on the sanwiches even my 3 year old granddaughter complained. All in all we spent over 60 quid for 2hrs very expensive dau out.

It would cost you ┬Ż8.00 if you don't have your own skates. Blue slush puppy ┬Ż2.00 and you've spent a tenner in 5 mins!! I took my book with me as I knew I would be sat for a while.....the building got colder and colder! I was so cold I didn't warm up until I got home after being in the car with the heating on full blast! The manager and his assistant spend the entire time cleaning up to the point that as soon as you put something down, it is whipped away from you and also wiping the surfaces around where you are sitting, making you feel uncomfortable! I asked the manager about the price increase. He wasn't very friendly. Just stated that it was the Easter holidays and 'that is why!'. Very strict on not having anything of your own to eat or drink which I can understand, but when you bring your own water bottle because you are not spending a fortune on drinks when you child is hot and sweaty, then it becomes an issue. Disappointed with my visit this time and we have been loads of times before......

This was my experience of playworld

My 2 kids have been 8 or 4 times and have got single stamps each time and given them to me and playworld are saying they wont honor the free skate or transfer the stamps onto 2 cards. So do not us them. The ladies reply was that my kids should have brought the same card down each there kids they dont think like that. Very disappointed with the service. Does it really matter if someone has a free skate or transfer stamps on to the cards. With the prices they charge for food and drink should make it up.

I brought my daughter and friends to skate for her birthday over last weekend.. the cost of entrance and money spent in there as you can imagine was pricey x I had a shopping bag holding the kids coats and phones etc in and they where continually in and out so as I'd collected a cake on our journey which didn't want damaged! The manager approached to say unless party we couldn't have a cake .... to which I explained why it was placed on table to be told I'd have to put it away! Complete joke!
