Well that was a wonderful but sad day...Thank you to everyone that has taken the time to come and see us for The final time this week...especially today . It was over wellming to hear your lovely comments . It has been a great pleasure to work at Playzone and I will, hand on my heart , miss you lovely people . Remember that barnsley PLAYZONE is not so far away ...you can relive the moments in a different town ......there's a job for me....Helens shuttle bus to take you all over ūüėāūüėāūüėāūüėāūüėā . Hi everyone this is Siobhan(playzones founder) i just want to take this last opportunity to just say a few words as it's playzones last day tomorrow. I am totally heartbroken that the snooker club ower has decided to close this amazing little business. For all who know me from the first couple of years of it's opening you will remember how much I loved the place and meeting all of our lovely customers. My little boy rhys was only 3 when we opened and he came with me everyday... up and down the m1 from barnsley and loved 'his'play area and all his little friends although a lot of the times he found it hard sharing a lot of his unwanted toys lol. The best bit for me was working with a very lovely lady who soon became one of my best friends. Helen filder ūüėä and although since I left to help my father with another venture and then moved on to my own business I know how much Helen loved working there and all of you. Over the last year my sister in law cassie dyer has worked in playzone too and I can honestly say she adores the place and all of you too and she helped Helen so much over the last year and is totally heartbroken it's closing too. Over the last few years we also had Charlene Lancaster who again loved the place too and put so much hard work and love into the place. And then there is the younger girls jade and alishia. These girls have worked so hard and put there all into everything and I am so greatful to each and every one of you. So this is so hard for me to see a business that has had so much love and hard work put into it be taken away but it is what it is and if I have my way maybe one day at a different venu we will be back. So please if you can come and say good bye to Helen and cassie tomorrow and wish them well because I know how much they are going to miss playzone and all of you ūüėē

It's with great sadness that I have to announce that PLAYZONE and TODDLERZ will be shutting it's doors for the last time this Friday. ūüėĘūüėĘūüėĘūüėĘūüėĘ it's been a great pleasure getting to know so many of you and we've taken great delight in watching your children grow up with us as we have many customers that have been with us from day 1. ūüėä I'd like to thank you all for your support that you've given us over the years and I can honestly say we will miss you all . What an amazing place to have a party. The price was perfect, the staff were lovely and helpful, the play area was just right for the 22 children we invited and everyone commented on how lovely the food was too. My 6 year old is one very happy birthday girl today. Thank you ever so much.

We recently had our little boys first ever birthday party here. It was his 3rd birthday, he invited all his little friends and was so excited. The night before the party he became unwell and we had to cancel. Playzone & Toddlerz were amazing, no problem just a re schedule of dates.

The week after he had an amazing birthday party with all his little friends. The play area was perfect, the food was fab and they even catered for a couple of food allergies with no fuss.

5 ‚õ§ party with no preparing or cleaning on our part.

We just had our daughters 3rd birthday here at the weekend for 20 children. Very friendly and helpful staff, great food, excellent cleanliness and a variety of play activities from the great soft play to the covered outside area. Highly recommend and thank you!

We had our son's 2nd birthday party last week and it was fab. Thank you so much to Helen and the staff for being so friendly and helpful. The children had a great time playing, all ages from 1-9yrs enjoyed it. The party food was great and there was plenty to go around. It's a lovely soft play. Would definitely recommend.

We had our little boys 2nd birthday party here this weekend it was fab!! The package we got included exclusive use of the facilities which was perfect!! The staff were friendly its super clean the toys and play areas are fab for toddlers & a great variety of food was provided! my little boy and all his friends loved it we would highly recommend! We will be back again soon ÔŅĹ xx

Really enjoy going, fab value for money and lovely people. It’s a nice size to enable you to keep track of your child. Booked for my daughters 3rd birthday in May, very good value for money.

Our first visit today. It's very good only had to pay for 3 year old as 9 year only sat playing his phone. Had entry and meal for £6, then we bought 2 mains and 3 drinks which were £11. The venue is just the right size to keep your eyes on your child so no arguing, she loved it and wants to go back. Staff very polite and attentive

My little boy had his first birthday here. Staff were so lovely and friendly. Food was amazing both the kids buffet and the sandwiches we bought. Access to the bar in the snooker club and loads of toys. We also got a birthday present of a free play session which I thought was super cute. Good value too. Thank you!

My little boy (aged 2) loves it here and I can keep an eye on him at all times unlike other soft plays. This means that I can also care for my baby Girl without losing my little boy. Love the offers that they put on and always find the food good value for money with generous portion sizes. Everyone who I've met that works here have always been polite and friendly. Can't fault it x

Love this place. Perfect for the little ones as I find the bigger places to over bearing with older kids running around. The food is delicious and staff are great. Can’t wait to have my little boys party there.

Love this place. It’s small but almost perfect size as the little ones can just do their own thing whilst you watch. The food is lovely and the Toddler morning deal and meal deal are fab. Staff are lovely. Would really recommend.

Just wanted to say a massive thank you for hosting my sons party today.. he’s had a lovely day and it’s a lovely place to have a special party in. Xx

Just had my sons 3rd birthday here today and we loved it, he had his 2nd birthday here too and we go on a regular basis. It's a great place for under 5's, everyone who works there are very helpful and friendly, can't recommend this place enough. Thank you very much the kids loved it

I had my daughters 2nd birthday here and it was brilliant! communication was good the food was great quality and there was loads of it! all the kids had a fab time would highly recommend ūüėÄ

Fantastic morning today. Such a calm, fun atmosphere. I feel totally safe knowing the kids are able to run around freely in an exciting, yet safe environment. Lovely food and super friendly staff too.

Attended a messy play session today was really good, the kids loved it and the lady running it was lovely.



The let down for us was the service of the cafe staff. Yes they were busy, it's a rainy day and there were lots of families there so that's understandable but having two 10month old babies who had to wait for an hour for a cheese sandwich and some cucumber is beyond a joke. After 45minutes we had to ask where our food was only to be told it had been given to someone else! We then waited a further 15minutes for the kids meal finally to arrive, I had to ask for the second part of my order, then ask again for my sisters order only for her to be brought the wrong thing. The food was nice but not worth waiting that long for.



The girl waiting on us didn't apologies for our wait either, or for the mix up of orders. And further more when she dropped a cup smashing it next to our table she made little effort to clean up the shards until she was asked by us and this was after a little girl almost ran through it in her socks.



It's soft play, there are kids with no shoes surely your first priority when there is a broken pot on the floor should be get the hover out.



Everybody has there bad days I'm sure but after the poor service today I don't think I'll be returning which is a shame as the play area is lovely, the food is nice when it finally gets to you and we did really enjoy messy play.
