What an amazing night we had last night for my sons 21st birthday. The staff decorated out our booth lovely with the photos and decorations we took down the night before. The service from staff was amazing and they couldn't do enough for us. Can't wait for another party ļæ½ļæ½ļæ½ļæ½ xxx
Went last night and got to say it was a great experience canāt wait to go back. The staff are helpful and clearly enjoy what they do. Thank you see you soon.
Last night was the first time I'd been to popworld it was booked for my sons stag do. Had a great night and will definitely be back.
I won the 3 Partinis, sweets and props competition and we both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves last night. The lady who looked after us did a sterling job by the way.
I love seeing my fabulous friend @hannah work the bar in popworldļæ½ the club is always welcoming and always fun for a good dance to some #throwbacksļæ½ I love the vibe I get in there and so I rate it 5* ļæ½
Had a fab time for a hen party . Just what we wanted a good laugh with cheesy music and everyone inside was there to have a good time .We bought the keyrings and got them with no probs . Only thing to moan about was we expected our lady gaga booth to be at the side of the dance floor but it wasnāt
Friday Night was very enjoyable. Town didn't seem as busy as normal which did help a little. Enjoyed our cocktails, and rum; More disappointed there isn't a Craft Beer or Ale on offer. Enjoy the music and D.J and the music was suitably cheesey and accommodated my 6'6 uncoordinated 'Dad Dancing'.
Fun for what it is. A good place to drink, dance and have a laugh with some cheesy pop music!
It was the first time me and my friend came last night and totally loved it but I think the only downfall is itās small it could be bigger just not enough room to get everyone in there
come all the time and book loads a booth there's always this same bouncer who only asks me for ID and not no one else not just that but my cousin who also comes and books booths got asked for ID and refused to let her in even though she looks over 25 and he never asked younger looking people for ID he always does this to me and in started getting annoyed and now thinking changing venues
I then complained to the manager and another bouncer who then went out and sorted we ended up having a good night but that's not the point ...
We went on Saturday Clearly they're struggling as they now don't open until after 5pm. We asked a guy who was opening up and he admitted they couldn't afford to open earlier as they had in the past. Also as mentioned the 2 type of lager they had .Carling was the half price one, which tasted off and the other was Ā£4.80 a pint and didn't taste much better . Plus don't know if anyone has noticed but all the bars have a ledge at the front. I watched 3 people put their drink down not realised and their drink fell over . Was not a pleasurable experience this time. Won't be going back. Can't see it staying open much longer if they carry on like that. Also advertised was DJ on from 5pm. Manager told us they couldn't get him until 8. False advertising again. Rant over ļæ½
stinks of piss and old men.
dj cant play a full song without putting something else on half way or talking absolute shite!
about 20 Turks next to the dance floor presumably looking for a victim.
and to top it off you charged me to get inļæ½

The doorman that looks like fat elvis (he knows who he is) insulted me with digusting comments. Insulted my friend. He is old enough to be my grandad. He is giving the company a bad name, awful
Similar to quite a few other reviews on here, I have also had a bad experience due to your incredibly rude and inconsistent security staff on the door. I was asked for ID and at 27, I havenāt been asked for ID in Leeds for quite some time and hadnāt brought it with me. As I tried to explain this, he went on to tell me itās my own fault and Iām ruining my own night in a disgustingly condescending manner. Whether I had my ID or not, itās extremely poor to be spoken to like this by another human being. He did let me in ājust this onceā but after that experience, we walked straight back out the door. It has not made me want to go back any time soon.
I would give you a good review if I could of got in, at been 31 years of age and a mother of 1 you would think I donāt look 18, your bouncer was very aggressive and didnāt need to be like that, it was a quiet Wednesday night and with me being sent packing they lost 8 peoples custom, what a load of shit it looked good through the window, I came from wales to see this place because my family really recommend it, never mind your loss
I will never come to pop world again! I was in a group of 3 and the ābouncerā would only let 2 in due to āhealth and safety issue!ā What about MY health a safety! Iād queued in the rain for 40 minutes to get to the front to the just to be turned away because we were in a group of 3. Think popworld need to get a new set of bouncers!
Decided not to let me in at 28 because i didn't have id. The bouncer asked me "what did i learn". Answer is, not to bother coming to an awful club with friends when the bouncers are all arseholes. Needless to say, I very clearly look over 25.
Avoid at all costs!!
Was there Saturday night with my friend when the photographer took our picture, I paid him for two keyrings. 2 hours later he didnāt come back to us, we couldnāt find him either. Asked two members of staff to find him without any luck. I wasnāt even drinking so I was fully aware of what was going on.
Messaged popworld who were supposed to be contacting him for a refund for me, as he didnāt even leave my keyrings at the club when he left. 3 days later nothing has been done and Iāve been ripped off.
Absolutely disgusting behaviour from your security staff last night. My friends and I were on our way out of Popworld when a bouncer from indoors literally dragged a girl out by her arm and threw her out. I didnāt see what happened inside which led to her being thrown out but despite this the way that she was thrown out was disgusting. She wasnāt putting up a fight and was extremely distressed. When I said how disgusted I was the security doorman screamed at me and told me to fuck off and called me all the names under the sun. Will never step foot in that place ever again.
