We have recently had a few issues with multiple people trying to buy the same item at the same time, this can end up awkward and disappointing, to make sure all is fair for everyone, we have created this buying guide. . .
Before you read this guide please be aware that We Love Our Customers and try to offer fantastic value on all our items. Please look at our reviews here https://www. facebook.com/pg /PracticalVintage /reviews /, we do our best to look after our customers. . .
1) To buy any item, please PM us to order.
2) Because all items are one off items, nothing is purchased until a PM has been received and a purchase agreed with us.
Please Note: We often have more than one person enquiring about the same item at the same time in comments or in PM, please note beginning of Number 2 above.
3) No items (apart from new sofa range) are new, they are either slight seconds, returns, ex display, vintage, or refurbished. Because of this all items are "Sold As Seen and non returnable" and we do not issue refunds.
4) Free Delivery* Delivery is normally Free within West Yorkshire or within 25 miles or so from Hebden Bridge for items over £100. Sometimes we may be able to deliver cheaper items free when we are passing by. . . Please PM for more details if required.
5) If you are unsure about if any item will work for you (Size /Quality /Finish), please organise to came and see the item before you agree to buy from us in a PM, as we do not offer refunds on ordered but unwanted items.
6) Generally speaking we can not "Hold" items for any reason or until later collection without payment up front. . . But, please do PM us to discuss your needs and we will do our best to work with you : )

What great service, major retailers could learn from this! Found a couple of pieces we loved, popped down to have a quick look on Sunday afternoon, the items were sitting in our house less than 24 hours later having been delivered personally. They look absolutely gorgeous and I'm now waiting to see more that will look great in my house! Recommended!
Saw the table and chairs online last night, popped down to have a look this morning, delivered by 3:30pm this afternoon and now looking great in our home. Can’t wait to sit on comfy chairs! Great service - thanks

Highly recommend Practical Vintage - beautiful furniture and fabulous service! The owners go above and beyond. Purchased a couple of items in store and they were delivered the same day.
From seeing the perfect mirror online Monday to it being on my wall Tuesday, they even delivered it in the evening for me as I work long shifts. Excellent customer service, I will definitely be back. Thank you once again xx
Absolutely fantastic service bought a sofa about 2 months ago and they offered to keep it for us as we are first time buyers and we didn't have anywhere to store it.
I messaged them the week of moving in and we arranged delivery when it was convenient for us so even after storing it for over 2 months they were still prepared to work around us. The two gents who delivered it offered to put it all together for us but as weren't ready as my flooring hadn't been finished we told them it would be ok, they explained fully how to fit the feet before they left!
Absolutely fantastic service! I would recommend this store to anyone!!!

5* products and customer service! I bought a writing desk from Practical Vintage, and was so impressed not only by the desk itself, but also by the owners who were so accommodating. Jacqui always responded very promptly to any queries, and kindly held the desk for several weeks before we moved into our new house! It was then delivered on a Sunday that was convenient to us, at no additional cost. I will definitely be a repeat buyer, and would recommend to all! :)
