Words cannot explain how special this venue is. Gorgeous setting, beautiful interiors and the opportunity to make it entirely your own. That’s before mentioning the team of amazing people who work there who make your wedding more than you could have ever dreamed possible. We can’t wait to come back and visit again.

We love Priory Cottages! Our wedding day in December was perfect and I do believe the venue was the starting point for this. It is homely yet impressive, large but intimate at the same time and there is so much you can do with personalising it for your day. With it being a Christmas wedding we went fairy lights mad and it looked beautiful. Our guests loved it. Serena and Phoebe were great during the run up - making the whole thing stress free (well as much as can be!) the cottages are a huge selling point because you can have an entire weekend of celebrations privately with your nearest and dearest. Totally worth it, nothing I didn't love-

We looked at the Priory Cottages after a friend recommended it and we instantly fell in love! The venue has everything we could ever need. The barn was just the right size for an intimate wedding and the marque was the perfect blank canvass for us to create our own style. Having the cottages available to us for our family made it a real celebration that lasted more than just a day! However it is not just the venue and the cottages and the beautiful surroundings that make this place the best venue for a wedding – it is the brilliant team we had supporting us! Serena was incredible – making sure we were on track, stopping us from panicking and rolling her sleeves up and getting stuck in (she was even at the ready with plasters when I managed to cut my hand!). The venue is amazing but the team we had on hand made the day run so perfectly! We couldn’t have asked for more! Thank you so much! Kayleigh and Paul Xx

We got married here this month and we couldn't be happier with our choice of venue! From day one Serena & Phoebe have been excellent, helping us to organise everything and ensuring they did everything they could to make our day run as smoothly as possible.

The venue itself is stunning and the cottages were amazing. Everyone was blown away by the whole place and being able to stay in the cottages and have all our friends and family in one place just made the whole weekend. The cottages are immaculate and laid out beautifully. The venue and marquee were perfect and we couldn't have asked for anything more.



Serena & Phoebe ensured that everything went exactly to plan and as they had already thought about all the little details , it meant that the whole day was completely stress free.

We got married at The Priory Barn & Cottages 4 days ago and had the most amazing time! In the planning stages, Serena was so fantastic in providing advice and recommendations for suppliers and when we arrived the day before to set up, she was always there on hand to help. The day itself was the best day ever and all our guests commented on how fabulous the venue was, it really is the perfect wedding venue. We had Didsbury String Quartet to play during our ceremony and drinks reception - it was a last minute decision but the best decision we made as they were fantastic! Joe Dodsworth and Lily photographed our day and we can't thank them enough for how calm and unobtrusive they were - we can't wait to see the photos. We also had Mulhern Media as our videographer and again Ryan was awesome. The food was by Taste Cuisine and it was beautiful. Zoe was brilliant in answering my many questions throughout the planning stages - and everything just ran so smoothly on the day. Lynne from Stem Designs did our flowers and they were absolutely gorgeous, everything I wanted and more and they looked so fab. We also hired a few items from Amy at Something New wedding planner, including the white and lace bunting which looked amazing in the marquee. Finally we had the Abi and Marc band play at our evening reception and they were so good! Definitely recommend them if you're wanting a band who plays great music and gets people on the dance floor. We just wish we could do the whole day again as it was just so much fun.

I would like to say a huge thank you to both Serena and Phoebe for their help throughout the whole planning process and also for keeping me calm on the day. Knowing that someone was there to build the giant jenga, light all the candles, greet our guests and making sure my dress was perfect as I walked down the aisle allowed us to both relax and enjoy the day! It is such a great feeling to know that your wedding day is in such good hands! They really do love what they do and it really shows.

We got married at Priory Cottages in July, and we cannot recommend or praise the venue and Priory team highly enough! Everything about our wedding was perfect; we genuinely felt like we were planning our wedding with friends, as the Priory team are so warm, attentive and helpful! Other places that we looked at charged thousands for the kind of wedding planning help that the Priory team give so generously and patiently at every stage of the process. The Priory team worked seamlessly on the day with Taste cuisine and other service providers, with Serena there but unobtrusive making sure everything went to plan and on time. We chose the Priory to hold our wedding on the 1st April this year and it was the best decision we could have made. I have never before experienced such helpful, supportive staff who go above and beyond to make sure you have the wedding of your dreams! The day was exceptional and all our guests loved the venue as much as we did. Very late to review as we got married on 03/06/17 however priory was the only wedding venue we went to view and we have no regrets with that decision! Serena and the team did an awesome job, everything went so smoothly and our food with taste cuisine was unreal!!!! There is no way I can put into words just how perfect this venue is. We knew instantly that the priory was where we wanted to get married and it did not disappoint.

Serena and the team are beyond brilliant, nothing is too much trouble and every last detail is considered. The relationship that priory have with the suppliers is exceptional and means that everything runs smoothly both in the run up to the wedding and on the day.

We had the venue from Friday-Sunday exclusively and all of our close family and friends stopped in the cottages on site, this was fantastic and meant that by the Saturday of the wedding everybody knew each other. On the morning of the wedding the cottage doors were open and everybody was able to come and go as they wished making a lovely relaxed atmosphere, plus our dogs were allowed in the cottages and the venue which is always a bonus.

All of our guests commented on our venue; how beautiful it was, how intimate it was and above all how perfect it was, many of them saying it was the best wedding they had been to and some even wanting to book the venue themselves. The priory allowed us to put our own personalities into the wedding, making our wedding exactly what we had dreamed of.

Priory will always have a special place in our hearts and we will be forever grateful to all the hard work that the amazing team put in to make our day so special! We are now desperately trying to come up with a reason to return ..... vow renewal Mr Hart?! X x

Having the immaculate cottages on site allowed all our families and wedding party to come together for longer than most venues which was the icing on the cake for us.

Myself and my husband got married here earlier this month and I could not fault Serena and the team on anything! They dealt with the craziness we threw at them unfalteringly and during planning it was more like planning with a friend. If you ever have a job going again - you know where I am ladies!!

When we first started to look at where to host our big day we visited a lot of venues however, none compared to Priory Cottages.



The cottages are amazing equipped with everything one might need for a weekend away. The barn and marquee stunning, we had the freedom to do as little or as much in terms of making it our own. The setting in the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside is perfection, you really get the sense that magical days happen here.



What really stands Priory Cottages out from others is Serena. When looking at other venues in the area we got the impression that we were just another couple and this is just another wedding for them.



You don't get the feeling that this is just a job for Serena, she genuinely loves what she does. From our first meeting until our last Serena and the equally lovely Phoebe were always on hand providing us with advice, guidance and whatever was needed to ensure our day was as special as could be. It's cliché but I really do believe that its people that make the difference from ordinary to extraordinary experiences and we both feel incredibly lucky to have had Serena helping us along the way.



Our big day was perfect, we both had the time of our lives. All of our friends and family joined us for the weekend at the cottages, having everyone in one place during the build up to our big day was just incredible.

From the day we first went and looked round to the morning we left after the wedding, the team were nothing but warm welcoming and so helpful and accommodating!

We knew from the moment we stepped foot in the venue we wanted to have our day there and yet it still managed to exceed all our expectations!

I have just returned after two days celebrating my daughter's wedding at Priory Cottages and I am still smiling. Serena and her team are absolutely brilliant. Always a happy face and any questions or problems were dealt with total professionalism and speed irrespective of how big or small. The main family parties occupied all seven cottages and it just added to the wonderful feeling of the wedding. No need to lock doors; people popping in and out; friendships quickly established!! As to the accommodation - first class! All the cottages were superbly maintained and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The venue in the fully restored barn for the wedding ceremony and reception is out of any fairy tale book you can imagine. Our photographer was in seventh heaven trying to decide which of the hundreds of photo situations she could utilise ! The Wedding and our stay here at Priory Cottages - the memories, smiles and laughter will last a lifetime ! To Serena and Phoebe and the rest of the team, including James and the team from Taste Cuisine, a huge hug and big thank you for making my daughters wedding to Ed a simply wonderful and beautiful 2 days. Derek and I got married at The Priory Barn & Cottages on 23 February 2018 and the location was absolutely beautiful. Serena and all the staff were amazing. They could not have been more helpful and nothing was too much bother.



We had all the Cottages and the night before the wedding had a little family and friends get together, which was perfect with the layout of the cottages.



I would thoroughly recommend this venue for a wedding or party.



The cottages are fully equipped with anything you could need and so modern and comfortable. Ideal setting because although it is near to local amenities when you are in the cottages you cannot see a single house and it is so peaceful and quiet. A great location if you just want to get away for a few days.

Serena and Phoebe were great during the run up - making the whole thing stress free (well as much as can be!) the cottages are a huge selling point because you can have an entire weekend of celebrations privately with your nearest and dearest. We looked at the Priory Cottages after a friend recommended it and we instantly fell in love! The venue has everything we could ever need. The barn was just the right size for an intimate wedding and the marque was the perfect blank canvass for us to create our own style. Having the cottages available to us for our family made it a real celebration that lasted more than just a day! However it is not just the venue and the cottages and the beautiful surroundings that make this place the best venue for a wedding – it is the brilliant team we had supporting us! Serena was incredible – making sure we were on track, stopping us from panicking and rolling her sleeves up and getting stuck in (she was even at the ready with plasters when I managed to cut my hand!). We got married here this month and we couldn't be happier with our choice of venue! From day one Serena & Phoebe have been excellent, helping us to organise everything and ensuring they did everything they could to make our day run as smoothly as possible.

The venue itself is stunning and the cottages were amazing. Everyone was blown away by the whole place and being able to stay in the cottages and have all our friends and family in one place just made the whole weekend. The cottages are immaculate and laid out beautifully. The venue and marquee were perfect and we couldn't have asked for anything more.



Serena & Phoebe ensured that everything went exactly to plan and as they had already thought about all the little details , it meant that the whole day was completely stress free.



Could not recommend this wedding venue enough and cannot thank the team enough for everything they did. Had a fantastic weekend!

We got married at The Priory Barn & Cottages 4 days ago and had the most amazing time! In the planning stages, Serena was so fantastic in providing advice and recommendations for suppliers and when we arrived the day before to set up, she was always there on hand to help. The day itself was the best day ever and all our guests commented on how fabulous the venue was, it really is the perfect wedding venue. We had Didsbury String Quartet to play during our ceremony and drinks reception - it was a last minute decision but the best decision we made as they were fantastic! Joe Dodsworth and Lily photographed our day and we can't thank them enough for how calm and unobtrusive they were - we can't wait to see the photos. We also had Mulhern Media as our videographer and again Ryan was awesome. The food was by Taste Cuisine and it was beautiful. Zoe was brilliant in answering my many questions throughout the planning stages - and everything just ran so smoothly on the day. Lynne from Stem Designs did our flowers and they were absolutely gorgeous, everything I wanted and more and they looked so fab. We also hired a few items from Amy at Something New wedding planner, including the white and lace bunting which looked amazing in the marquee. Finally we had the Abi and Marc band play at our evening reception and they were so good! Definitely recommend them if you're wanting a band who plays great music and gets people on the dance floor. We just wish we could do the whole day again as it was just so much fun.

We got married at Priory Cottages on 27th May 2016 - and the day was PERFECT! I would like to say a huge thank you to both Serena and Phoebe for their help throughout the whole planning process and also for keeping me calm on the day. Knowing that someone was there to build the giant jenga, light all the candles, greet our guests and making sure my dress was perfect as I walked down the aisle allowed us to both relax and enjoy the day! It is such a great feeling to know that your wedding day is in such good hands! They really do love what they do and it really shows.

We got married at Priory Cottages in July, and we cannot recommend or praise the venue and Priory team highly enough! Everything about our wedding was perfect; we genuinely felt like we were planning our wedding with friends, as the Priory team are so warm, attentive and helpful! Serena in particular is an absolute superstar, so organised and was genuinely interested in all our wedding plans (not just the parts involving the Priory). Other places that we looked at charged thousands for the kind of wedding planning help that the Priory team give so generously and patiently at every stage of the process. The Priory team worked seamlessly on the day with Taste cuisine and other service providers, with Serena there but unobtrusive making sure everything went to plan and on time. Thank you so so much to the wonderful Priory team for making our wedding so special and perfect - this is a very special place, get married here! Xxx

We chose the Priory to hold our wedding on the 1st April this year and it was the best decision we could have made. I have never before experienced such helpful, supportive staff who go above and beyond to make sure you have the wedding of your dreams! The day was exceptional and all our guests loved the venue as much as we did. Serena and her team make sure the bride and groom are stress free and ensure they have a the day they'd always dreamed of. Can not recommend highly enough for a wedding venue!!

Very late to review as we got married on 03/06/17 however priory was the only wedding venue we went to view and we have no regrets with that decision! Serena and the team did an awesome job, everything went so smoothly and our food with taste cuisine was unreal!!!! Serena has a very relaxed vibe and this helps the day run stress free for the bride and groom! We hope to return for a stay here!

There is no way I can put into words just how perfect this venue is. We knew instantly that the priory was where we wanted to get married and it did not disappoint.

Serena and the team are beyond brilliant, nothing is too much trouble and every last detail is considered. The relationship that priory have with the suppliers is exceptional and means that everything runs smoothly both in the run up to the wedding and on the day.

We had the venue from Friday-Sunday exclusively and all of our close family and friends stopped in the cottages on site, this was fantastic and meant that by the Saturday of the wedding everybody knew each other. On the morning of the wedding the cottage doors were open and everybody was able to come and go as they wished making a lovely relaxed atmosphere, plus our dogs were allowed in the cottages and the venue which is always a bonus.

All of our guests commented on our venue; how beautiful it was, how intimate it was and above all how perfect it was, many of them saying it was the best wedding they had been to and some even wanting to book the venue themselves. The priory allowed us to put our own personalities into the wedding, making our wedding exactly what we had dreamed of.

Priory will always have a special place in our hearts and we will be forever grateful to all the hard work that the amazing team put in to make our day so special! We are now desperately trying to come up with a reason to return ..... vow renewal Mr Hart?! X x

Priory cottages will always hold a special place in our hearts. From the first time we looked around this venue we knew it was perfect for our wedding. Having the immaculate cottages on site allowed all our families and wedding party to come together for longer than most venues which was the icing on the cake for us.



Serena and phoebe are the perfect team. They put us an ease and went over and above to ensure our weekend was prefect and everything ran so smoothly. We cannot thank you both enough!



We would highly recommend this venue if you want some a little bit more special, that will make all your guests say wow. The setting is so picturesque.

Myself and my husband got married here earlier this month and I could not fault Serena and the team on anything! They dealt with the craziness we threw at them unfalteringly and during planning it was more like planning with a friend. If you ever have a job going again - you know where I am ladies!!

My wife and I had our wedding at Priory Cottages August 6th this year.

When we first started to look at where to host our big day we visited a lot of venues however, none compared to Priory Cottages.



The cottages are amazing equipped with everything one might need for a weekend away. The barn and marquee stunning, we had the freedom to do as little or as much in terms of making it our own. The setting in the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside is perfection, you really get the sense that magical days happen here.



What really stands Priory Cottages out from others is Serena. When looking at other venues in the area we got the impression that we were just another couple and this is just another wedding for them.



You don't get the feeling that this is just a job for Serena, she genuinely loves what she does. From our first meeting until our last Serena and the equally lovely Phoebe were always on hand providing us with advice, guidance and whatever was needed to ensure our day was as special as could be. It's cliché but I really do believe that its people that make the difference from ordinary to extraordinary experiences and we both feel incredibly lucky to have had Serena helping us along the way.



Our big day was perfect, we both had the time of our lives. All of our friends and family joined us for the weekend at the cottages, having everyone in one place during the build up to our big day was just incredible.

My husband and I shared our special day with all our family and friends at the amazing venue that is Priory Cottages.

From the day we first went and looked round to the morning we left after the wedding, the team were nothing but warm welcoming and so helpful and accommodating!

We knew from the moment we stepped foot in the venue we wanted to have our day there and yet it still managed to exceed all our expectations!

I have just returned after two days celebrating my daughter's wedding at Priory Cottages and I am still smiling. Serena and her team are absolutely brilliant. Always a happy face and any questions or problems were dealt with total professionalism and speed irrespective of how big or small. The main family parties occupied all seven cottages and it just added to the wonderful feeling of the wedding. No need to lock doors; people popping in and out; friendships quickly established!! As to the accommodation - first class! All the cottages were superbly maintained and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The venue in the fully restored barn for the wedding ceremony and reception is out of any fairy tale book you can imagine. Our photographer was in seventh heaven trying to decide which of the hundreds of photo situations she could utilise ! The Wedding and our stay here at Priory Cottages - the memories, smiles and laughter will last a lifetime ! To Serena and Phoebe and the rest of the team, including James and the team from Taste Cuisine, a huge hug and big thank you for making my daughters wedding to Ed a simply wonderful and beautiful 2 days. Derek and I got married at The Priory Barn & Cottages on 23 February 2018 and the location was absolutely beautiful. Serena and all the staff were amazing. They could not have been more helpful and nothing was too much bother.



We had all the Cottages and the night before the wedding had a little family and friends get together, which was perfect with the layout of the cottages.



I would thoroughly recommend this venue for a wedding or party.



The cottages are fully equipped with anything you could need and so modern and comfortable. Ideal setting because although it is near to local amenities when you are in the cottages you cannot see a single house and it is so peaceful and quiet. A great location if you just want to get away for a few days.

Amazing venue!!!! I don't even know where to start.... this is just the best wedding venue ever!!! We cannot thank Serena & Phoebe enough for all their support over the last year. We had the most incredible day, any issue or worry I had they immediately put me at ease and sorted it out for me. I honestly could not have done it without them. The venue itself is stunning , having the cottages onsite makes it so much easier and really makes it a unique wedding venue. So much love for this place x
