We were in Wakefield for work for 2 days and tried out Qubana on our first night. We had (a lot of) tapas and every dish was yummy. The service was good and the staff are very friendly, especially Penny. We liked it so much we returned the following evening to sample some more of the tapas menu...everything was delicious. I also recommend the Dark Forest Espresso Martini!

The food was fantastic and the staff lovely ......but I had a call to confirm my booking and was asked if had booked in for the cocaqubana evening. To be honest I didn't know it was on and told the lady this on the phone. I was very disappointed on arrival that we seemed to be shoved inTo the back room where a make do and mend table seemed to have been created at the end of the bonkette andI got the feeling that if I had said yes I booked for the entertainment we would have had a nicer table! After all I booked the table weeks ago so I feel like I was treated a little bit shoddily to make room for the people who booked for the tribute act. After all I too would have liked to have a great view of Freddy !

The best Pornstar Martini I’ve ever had! The cosmopolitan and espresso martinis I had were also excellent. Please add French Martinis to your menu! I had tapas and every dish was delicious. Large selection of food and drink at very good prices. The atmosphere is also great here and the staff are friendly.

My husband organised a surprise birthday meal with friends for me on Saturday evening at Quran’s and it was fantastic. The food was absolutely gorgeous and we were all happy. The Tapas was amazing and the steak was cooked perfectly. The staff couldn’t do enough for us, would highly recommend this lovely place to anyone 😊

I will definitely be going back here, such s great atmosphere all staff was friendly, but qubana if you hear me your girl penny needs a promotion, a free champers or a bonus. She was great all I ever see are people who can't take a joke. And not to mention the most amazing food, couldn't pick a fault I now love the place.

I loved the meet and greet the staff are very friendly and cheerful. Staff were very attentive and always checking whether I needed anything, nothing was too much trouble. I had the pulled pork with sweet potato fries they were delicious and a perfect portion size. If like me you don't want to drink alot there is the e choice of a bottle of water on the table. I was there for the Definitive Rod Stewart tribute evening, it was like being in an up-close and personal gig. It's the best night out I have had in a long time. I started out the evening on my own but I was invited to join a group on another table - that's how friendly the clientele are.

I booked the 'Vault' for my wife's birthday party, and as there were only 7 of us, it was just right! The ambience is fantastic as well as that certain feeling of being 'special'.

The restaurant was busy, but we had no problem with service.....staff kept looking in on us all afternoon, and if something was wanted, we ordered it and it arrived! The meals were excellent. After many visits I had wanted to try the ''Flying Pig', so I did! It was huge, but gorgeous and is well recommended!

Our other friends had choices from the tapas menu, and it was all excellent.

All in all, I think that Qubana in its present location is something that Wakefield has been crying out for for many years. Good food at reasonable prices in superb surroundings and with attentive and knowledgeable staff.

Had a fantastic meal in the Vault for a friend’s hen do. The staff are so friendly and attentive and really looked afterwards, we will definitely come back again

First time I’ve try the place last night , lovely lady on the door ( think her name was Emma ) my friend was late so she looked after me showed to the bar and recommend the drinks and offers on , service was great and the food was amazing , our cocktails � were so good , we was really looked after by all the staff , emma came back to check we was all settled and recommended the cheesecake which was lovely , can’t wait to come back the place is lovely inside can’t fault anything xxx great job guys xxx

Fantastic qubana take on afternoon tea. Really enjoyed the chicken skewers and chorizo lollipops. As well as lots of yummy sweet treats. Would highly recommend.

Booked the vault on a Saturday evening to celebrate a friends birthday, from start to finish the service was exceptional, drinks on tap, not even finished before you could order another drink, food was lovely, the ability to play your own music selection inside the vault, made for a fantastic evening, with great food, drink and company. Would 100% do it again - already a frequent visitor for the cocktails ��

Amazing food, very tasty and quality ingredients. The cocktails and beers are also outstanding. To top it all off the staff are courteous and attentive. Fantastic place for a bite to eat and drinks

Amazing food had my birthday meal here yesterday with family and friends (14 of us) service was fab very friendly and we wasnt rushed which I liked ( hate been rushed in and out ) a meal should last a couple of hours and it did. Can highly recommend the mushroom and spinach tapas and chicken and halloumi skewers absolulty Gorgeous!!! Can't wait to go back ���

Myself and my husband went yesterday for lunch and it was very nice- I ordered the club sandwich and it was really tasty and my husband said his steak sandwich was good too. Our server was efficient, pleasant and the food came quickly. The bill was really reasonable and we will definitely be returning for lunch. On our previous visit a couple of months ago we went at night and we did see a big difference in the wait time for food. The food (tapas) was tasty but not very hot, so I can understand how the reviews are very mixed on here. Thank you.

Booked Qubana for the day before Valentine’s Day as me and my partner were working on the 14th. Had a drink in the bar when we arrived in the main room which is quite grand with high ceilings, being an ex-bank. When were were shown to our table I was disappointed as we were sat at a table that was in a space away from the main room that looked like a ‘waiting area’. This was a small square area to the left of the main door as you go in. Worse still it was right next the disabled access toilet which had the door wide open all night...romantic dinner for two lit by the light from the disabled toilet? Not quite what I had in mind. The dishes we ordered were a bit hit and miss, loved some (mushrooms and spinach, Prawns Pil Pil) but didn’t rate others (Octopus, Patatas Bravas). Service started off well but dropped off towards the end of the evening when it was hard to get attention. The waitress forgot our coffees and I had to remind after twenty minutes. Have been three or four times before and been in the main room and got better service etc. Will probably make the effort to go into Leeds for Tapas next time.

Wasn’t overly impressed with the food and one of the waiters only seemed to show some enthusiasm when it was time to possibly receive a tip!

Had to ask for certain specifications for my daughters meal and although it was accommodated it felt like we were being a pain!

My starter came at a different time to the other starters too!

Not a great experience to be honest, went for a friend’s birthday on Saturday and there was just 7 of us. Our table was booked for 9.30pm & it was very busy. Did not get to order our drinks until 10.01pm as if was difficult to catch a waitress. Food was ordered soon after but did not arrived until 10.10pm. Food was good & worth the wait but table service is poor.

Where do l start???.just had lunch with some school friends... ordered it..an hour later ir arrived.. l had asked what pig eared fries were..to be told potato wedges... they were not wedges ..they were thinly sliced potato about thickness of a crisp and cut in half.semi circle....( suppose to look like a pigs ear).. don't know what kind of pig has semi circle ears... anyhow most of them was raw potatoe ..so we sent them back and got replaced.. l asked fir chunky chips instead... which were burnt. I wanted to eat them with my sandwich all together..but it was getting cold so had to eat that first and chips later... if part if your meal isn't right it should all be replaced..

My club ciabatta sandwich was very very dry.. as was my friends..we had to ask for mayo to make it more palatable..the chicken on it wasn't fresh or sliced but frozen packet chunks.. the bacon was raw and fatty and got put into a tissue..oh and it comes on a mucky wooden board.. l emptied mine onto the side plate...mt friend ordered three tapas and only ate one and half.. the pork was dusgusting.. go to McDonald's.. much better ..

Im disabled so went to the disabled loo.. the outer door was propped open with an electric heater on a lead..the inner door did not shut..so l asked for help and to my astonishment a male followed me into the loo...

I asked if a lady could help me with the door..to be told it was working because staff use the disable toilet all the time..in the end l had to lock the outer door with hook..

No paper towels..just hand dryer.. dont know how people cope that need the sink to wash personal parts that require drying...some disable people use the toilet for the private sink..if you use a wheel chair its no good..no ramps..nothing.

Ask for a drink ..it doesn't arrive..then like busses two arrive at once by different waitresses...the old Qubanba was much better and so was the chef and staff.. won't be going back.
