Wow what a little gem this place is. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and attentive. It was a glorious day so me and my friend managed to sit outside in the sunshine, I honestly could have stayed there all day was so relaxing and laid back. The menu has a wide range of breakfast and lunch meals to cater for everyone's needs including children. I had a sandwich which comes with a salad, crisps and the homemade coleslaw which is delicious. I then managed to squeeze in the Raspberry and Lemon Cake which was out of this world. All the cakes are fresh and handmade on the premises which i thinks gives this place that extra special something...if you don't go visit your honestly missing out x

What a lovely place went today with my daughter and grandson gorgeous food lovely cakes fantastic welcoming staff they had crayons and pictures for my grandson I even asked for some little marshmallows for my grandson the ones you put on top of hot chocolate and the lovely lady gave him a cupful and he loved them will definitely be visiting again.

What a great place! Friendly, lovely decor and gorgeous food. I couldn’t decide between the variety of cakes so ended up taking up the fantastic offer of picking 4 to have samples of with a cup of tea/coffee for £4.75 �

What a treasure trove of lovely food, a nice location and the staff are amazing. Went for a random lunch with my mum and dog, it was lovely.

The food was well presented and they are more than happy to tweek the food if you want. The price is reasonable, we will definitely go again.

We had the Ploughman's and the Yorkshire charcuterie and shared it between us it was absolutely gorgeous! Followed by huge pieces of delicious cake with plenty of tea. We will definitely be coming again. Staff are friendly and there's a lovely atmosphere that's really welcoming.

Visited yesterday with a friend who had been before and recommended. What a lovely hidden gem, thoroughly enjoyed a ploughmans platter which was served by a very pleasant lady who explained what everything was. Such good value for money and I'm looking forward to returning soon to try the walk in afternoon tea. Thank you Rhubarb for making my birthday a good one!

Visited this cafe earlier this week and can't recommend it enough .My friend and I had the ploughmans lunch for two and it was delicious especially the chutney. Lovely menu choices and very friendly staff. Can't wait to go again! Oh! and the cakes were scrummy🍰

Visited for the first time last Saturday and wowed by their menu, cakes and wonderful service. Visited again yesterday with a friend for our birthdays and again not disappointed. Fantastic walk in afternoon tea, bought cake home to eat later. Recommended to other people who have all visited today - hope you weren’t too busy. Definitely will be visiting again - well done ladies, fantastic x

Really lovely place. Sat outside in the sunshine & lunch was beautiful. Had the ploughman's platter to share which was gorgeous, followed by a scone straight out of the oven and the hubby's slice of red velvet cake was the biggest I've seen! Staff were really friendly and great service.

Lovely friendly welcome, was especially welcoming towards our toddler, bringing over toys and books that were in the cafe for children to play with. Had an excellent lunch and the children’s lunch was great value with lots to choose from. Looking forward to trying afternoon tea next time!

I called here yesterday at the midpoint of my bike ride with my cycle group. The tea rooms were in a lovely setting & the staff were very friendly. I had a slice of the infamous rhubarb drizzle cake � & a coffee. All the cakes looked high quality & all were homemade. I picked up a couple of scones to go for my mum & dad & they said they were the best scones they have had in ages. Will be visiting again! �

Drop in this lunchtime whilst on a bike ride. Had a flat white coffee and it was one of the best I’ve had in a long time. Apparently it’s a brand by Heavenly Coffee from Sheffield. Highly recommend it and I’ll be back for breakfast or cakes with it next time!

Came for lunch today with my 9 year old and her two friends. Fantastic food and even better service. The ladies that run the tea rooms are so friendly and were great with the kids! Thank you! We will definitely be back xx

Called today for the first time with my mum, lovely place, lovely food (we had the ploughmans slate for two), staff lovely, highly recommend!

Called in with my Mum for her birthday yesterday, we had the drop in cream tea. It was lovely, the cakes were amazing, especially vthe rasberry and coconut cake. mum had to take some home in a little box for her tea. The staff were very helpful with me as I have various food intolerances. I would definitely go back . I have already recommended Rubarb cafe to my friends.��
