Last month was a busy old month for us at Rockpool (hence our lack of posts...)
So Rockpool Cafe turned 2 years old! We have been catering for a rather large production (details to follow) so we didn’t have a party as such BUT we did launch our brand spanking new dining area!!! With lots of help from our great friends at Production Park plus interior design from Justin Smith this old storage area was transformed from a cold, uninviting bay (pictured) to a warm funky eatery t...hat will act as an over flow for the cafe customers or as a 2nd dining area for larger incoming production rehearsals.

Rockpool Cafe is hiring!
We require a Breakfast / Commis Chef - Immediate Start
Hourly rate dependant on experience.
... Usual Hours: Monday - Friday 7.30am – 2pm
South Kirkby, West Yorkshire.
Rockpool Café is the on-site restaurant at Production Park. We serve freshly made meals daily between 8am – 4pm. The menu includes made to order pizzas, salads and sandwiches plus 4 delicious specials which change daily. We offer a wide range of event catering services from private gatherings to large corporate events. With an extensive onsite kitchen, all food is cooked fresh and the chefs take great pride in sourcing good quality local produce.
We are looking for a dedicated commis chef to join our team. We will be tasked with delivering breakfast service and helping with food preparation for our lunch service and event catering.
What you'll be doing:
• Prepare fresh ingredients for cooking according to menu.
• Cook food and prepare breakfast items in a timely manner.
• Test foods to ensure proper preparation and temperature.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
• Ensure the proper sanitation and cleanliness of surfaces and storage containers.
What we are looking for in a Breakfast/Commis Chef:
· Great teamwork skills and attention to detail.
· Positive outlook and outgoing personality.
· Previous experience essential.
· Punctual.
