We loved our Wedding Day at Rogerthorpe Manor. It is a beautiful place to get married. Thank you to all of the staff you were fantastic, the food was wonderful, the dj played the songs we requested, the tables were decorated just how we requested and the gardens are beautiful. We had our wedding here on Sunday and it couldn’t have been more amazing... there are no words to describe how beautiful our day was from start to finish we was so well looked after ... the room was lovely and clean and the meals were fantastic... I would recommended rogerthorpe to anyone whether it be for their wedding... a girls night... time away with loved ones or even just for a meal in the Jacobean pub... everything is of such a high standard... we can’t thank you enough xx

We were asked to approve everything before our guests could enter the rooms, so much thought, time and effort went into our day. Karen and her team are amazing, and a real asset to the Rogerthorpe family and we were so grateful. Rogerthorpe Manor will always hold a very special place in our hearts and we will keep returning. Lee - thank you for making me feel at ease, for ensuring Rupert (our little French bulldog) was ok all day, that he always had water and wasn’t overheated on a VERY hot day! And for having a shot and a drink waiting for me and my husband the second we got back down the aisle. That and everything else you did was amazing!!

Sarah - thank you for helping me sort my last minute jobs and printing the night before my wedding whilst I was in a flap!!

We came last night for a surprise meal for my mums 65th birthday, everything was gorgeous, the food was lovely, service was great, everything we discussed with Kerry and Nicola was carried out, great service, would definitely recommend and come back again, thank you �

Was at this venue yesterday for a wedding and it was absolutely fantastic. From the fist minute of our arrival everyone from the the car park attendant who gave us excellent instructions on where to park etc. To the bar staff and waiting staff were absolutely terrific. Can I also put a special message in for the master of ceremonies Lee. Who by the way is absolutely brilliant so attentive to all of us and he put us all at ease as we were all very nervous plz send a special thank you too him. even the DJ and reception staff so a massive thank you to you all and will definitely be back at some point.

There was also a member of staff on our evening reception that was adamant that myself and my husband was getting something to eat before they moved the food away, he went out of his way to make sure we had both eaten - we thought this was very kind of him to do!! I had my wedding here yesterday and I cannot even explain how amazing this place is. The staff are amazing. I cannot thank Karen enough our wedding manager who has been there from booking right up till the day any issues queries I had she was there to answer and reassure me. Also lee the master of ceremonies was fabulous throughout our day making sure me and the groom and our guests had drinks and that we were all happy he made the day run smooth and made us feel at ease with his slight humour. Massive thank you to Rogerthorpe Manor it’s exceeded my expectations I can definitely say it was my dream wedding. Thank you all so much Mr and Mrs Edwards Xxxxxxxx

Having recently had the pleasure of executing a personal wedding styling job within your establishment we have to say how incredibly welcome we were always made to feel this on the occasions we attended open days to see and meet other suppliers who were contributing with the wedding, meeting with the bride to be to finalise the spaces and with yourselves on the lead up also. As for on the day your staff team were exceptionally accommodating, assisting with matters that arose and providing us with the much needed caffeine hits do a huge THANK YOU from team Sweetspaces. We would without hesitation recommended you and hope to work with you again in the future.

Had our wedding here yesterday and it could not have gone better. Lee and Karen were so helpful and friendly. The room was set up perfectly right down to the last detail in the morning and evening. The staff were very friendly and willing to do anything for you. The honeymoon suite was lovely and comfortable. 5 out of 5 all the way. Thank you rogerthorpe and a huge thank you to Lee and Karen.

Had our wedding here 10.02.18 and i cant fault a single thing.

The banqueting manager who looked after us on the day was fantastic.

The room looked amazing and the food was delicious. Our guests still tell us how good the food was.

The only fault i have is that our sashes were the wrong colour, we had asked to change to Grey from Pink a few weeks before the wedding and they were still Pink but it didnt really matter!

The bridal suite was maasive and a beautiful room! Unfortunate we didnt get to spend much time in there but we will deffo be back for our anniversary!

Had a small private meal for my 40th in the Rose Room.... everything was perfect. Staying in one of the suites... it’s so beautiful and one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed. Can’t recommend this hotel highly enough for either an event or just a getaway.

Attended a friend’s 40 th wedding anniversary, beautiful room & gardens , lovely high tea plus sparkling wine on arrival & friendly attentive staff , made the event really special .

Couldn’t fault it really. Only stayed one night has we where at Pontefract races lovely food especially the fried bread at breakfast. It was a bit noisy up too about 01.00 but we where pre warned so came prepared with ear plugs. But would defiantly return for another visit

Haven't been for a couple of years (was a regular and always enjoyed the food) and was looking forward to my roast dinner cavery today...What a disappointment. What happened to the rib eye beef? Instead the beef was tough and the turkey wasn't much better. Vegetables were ok..carrots, califlower, cabbage oh and mushy peas!

Given 2 stars for service and the menu prices (although not good value as I left most of my meat). I hope this was a one off bad day as the hotel itself is highly recommended!

We go here 3 times a week , food and staff always amazing , but tonight when we went at 9 food good but staff dragging tables and chairs at side of you getting ready for breakfast sittting in the morning , disgusting , wouldn’t recommend anyone going at this time of night , made us feel uncomfortable
