We had a fantastic time yesterday celebrating my grandads 90th birthday. A big thank you to our waiter Gregg who was brilliant, especially with the children, so friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed a lovely family meal today at Salute. The food was delicious and our waitress, Michelle, was brilliant! I had the Pollo Prosciutto off the specials menu and it was delicious. Thank you.

We booked the private room for my Mother in Laws 70th Birthday.. the staff are so helpful and cannot do enough for you. The room is perfect.. the food was excellent. The waitress designated to us was great with the kids and so lovely and helpful. Fantastic place.. we will be back again. Thanks all

Visited with 13 Ladies for bottomless brunch. Good drink selection and very plentiful thanks to the excellent service from Paige. Lovely food and great value. Can’t wait to go again. And just an update... visited again today with 16 hens! Fabulous food. Amazing service from Paige and Greg! Made to feel special by all the staff and cannot recommend this place enough! Xxx

Visited on Saturday for my daughters 10th birthday with her friends. Staff were lovely, great with the girls very patient and tentative. Took the birthday cake at the door asked the name of the birthday girl and felt very looked after. Didn't see the guys before we left to thank them so thanks very much, Skye enjoyed her birthday lunch very much. ��

The signet suit was booked for my daughters baby shower. The service was amazing . Our waitress Bronwyn was so attentive especially to my sister who's main mission was to drink the Swan out of coffee �. The tea was lovely. With a selection of sandwiches. And beautiful cakes and scones with cream and jam. My only criticism (and this is really tiny) is i would have liked some more savoury items on the afternoon tea menu. A sausage roll or vol au vant. But all in all it was a very pleasant experience and a lovely day for my daughter. Thank you swan we will be using you again in the future �

Ist visit last night with friends & loved everything about it. Friendly & efficient staff. We all enjoyed gorgeous, tasty food with very generous portions. Outside area made it feel like we were on holiday, had several patio heaters if needed so you could stay outside as long as you liked. Great atmosphere, will definitely be back �

I have just seen salute have come in the top 20 best Italian restaurants in Leeds. I went there a couple of weeks back and the food was delicious, the staff were friendly especially our waitress, Michelle. She was very friendly and most helpful. Thanks for a great night , see you soon

Highly recommend this place - New Year’s Eve was fantastic but go there regularly - the food is great and the staff are the most attentive I have ever come across - give it a try you won’t be disappointed

Had an afternoon tea party for my daughters 2nd birthday in the suite and the service was amazing! From planning the event to the day itself - everything was great! Staff were really attentive, helpful and approachable. The room itself is really cosy and is the perfect venue for private events.

First time here. The food was delicious & the service from Greg, our waiter, was amazing! AJ who served our drinks was fab too. Greg is an asset to your business & how customer service should be!

Fantastic place, extremely friendly staff. Good food. Not cheap on the drink front but then you get what you pay for and those drinks are pretty much top dollar in any establishment. £8.50 for a glass of Rioja and £5.15 for a pint of Peroni. Food not uber expensive but pub food this is not. This is a full on Italian restaurant.

Me and my sister took Mum for an Early Mother’s Day treat. My chicken in cream sauce was lovely but mums haddock was a bit too saucy. Would have been better is the mash was at the side instead of under all the sauce

Food was very good, I had crab which I thought was very reasonably priced, it was really tasty. I think its more of a place to go with children and would take my grandchildren, certainly not for a quiet meal.

Excellent all round service from very friendly and pleasant staff that looked after our group to a very good standard. Above average food and reasonable portion size. Would no doubt visit again

We went on Sunday evening for my daughters 22nd birthday. My partner had called and we were assured there would be balloons on the table etc. Arriving there was nothing. Not a big deal so we didn't say anything.



The food was lovely as always and the waitress was very nice.

We had to ask a couple of times for drinks that were forgotten and had to wait a fair while when ordering out puddings, again no big deal.



What ruined our visit was a large group of people, including children who had come for a few drinks seated/standing right behind our table. About 4/5 men in the group were loud/annoying/blocking the route to the toilet but also swearing loudly, we could barely hear ourselves think they were so loud. I'm no saint but my 9 year old son was with us. I was going to have a quiet word with the staff until I realised they seemingly knew the staff so felt uncomfortable saying anything. It really ruined our meal and had definitely put us off returning.

The 3 stars is only because the food was good.

Superb service yet sadly not for the first time average fair for above average prices for quality being offered. May seem harsh and others will love it.Seriously need to up the game. Oh & service charge should be optional, banging 10% on & thinking folk will be too embarrassed to ask for it to be removed probably doesn’t work in Rothwell. I paid it directly to our waitress instead as I doubt it gets to staff otherwise when stuck on the bill.

Just been for lunch and sadly it was not as enjoyable as it has been in the past. Not wanting the bottomless brunch and ordering from the main menu would appear to be a mistake as the due care and attention normally received was clearly focussed towards those partaking in a £25 all you can drink session. Parts of our order were missing starting with the focaccia from the mussels starter, although I wish it had remained missing as it would have made a better door stop. Secondly the garlic and tomato bread didn’t arrive with our main and the excuse that it was undercooked on one side was perhaps taking it too far, I would urge the management take a look at there lopsided oven. It finally arrived after we had eaten our main courses and was swiftly sent back. Needless to say what should have been an enjoyable afternoon with my friend turned out be over within 1 hour. Thankfully the manager was gracious enough to not charge us for the starter or the garlic bread. Salute, whilst I appreciate you want to get people through the door do not let this be at the detriment of your long standing customers.

If this was based on service it would be 5 stars. Fabulous staff well done to all. Friendly and super attentive.

Don’t really think you have the hang of the bottomless brunch very overpriced for what you get especially when you are waiting 7-10 minutes for a drink when you only have 90 mins in my opinion if it’s bottomless the drinks should be ready and waiting for the next round not come collect your glass when empty then do another full round before bringing them back get this right will be perfect or the other thing to do would be to drop the price �
