Update on shells journey fighting cancer. In a few week I will be in hospital having a mastectomy and I've been told I won't be working for a couple of months so please understand I've got new part time staff to help my regular staff who are training now and they are doing great but remember I'm still a part of the team over the phone so if any of you have any issues with anything in the cafe please understand they are doing their best to help me out. Hopefully I will see you soon as my little boy says " pinkey promise mommy "

We're increasing our popular deliveries to local businesses from today. Don't forget that we do cold sandwiches and salads as well as the hot meals, sandwiches, and lunchtime specials. You can download the menu from our website >> http://scarcafe.co.uk/menu.pdf If you're having a meeting, a training course or a working lunch, we can also prepare you a fresh sandwich buffet. Simply ring in your order and we'll bring it to you, (with a receipt if the boss is paying!)

Just to update you all, I am still popping in from time to time to help the girls but i have to say their support is amazing with them running the cafe while im going through my journey. All being well the cafe sale will be finalised soon, and then Im free as a bird to my next chapter in life. i won't be far if anyone wants to meet up for a coffee :)

Hi to my customers new and old.
Just to let you know, I've been diagnosed with breast cancer this week so I'm taking some time off work but I will pop in from time to time if anyone fancy's a brew.
In two weeks I go to chat with the surgeon about having a small operation to remove it. The promising outcome is it's tiny. All I can say is thank God I went for my 1st mammogram.

Best cafe around, you want a good breakfast to charge you up for the day, you get it here, sit quiet or join in the banter, whatever takes your fancy it's catered for (excuse the pun)

Been coming to this cafe for as long as I can remember!!!!!! (16 years I think ) and it's always worth coming back to !!!! Food outstanding and staff are the same there's always a smile !!! keep up the good work !!!!
