Being a very small, independent and family run business we always buy local or from the ‘little guys’ where we can.
Our products are all lovingly handmade in our little workshop in Leeds. We don’t charge over the odds for a quality product because we believe that everyone deserves to be able to enjoy beautiful products at honest prices. We can’t buy insane amounts of bulk ingredients like some of the larger bath bomb ...companies out there so we pay more for our ingredients but charge the same or lower than the bigger companies do. We don’t have 200+ people working for us and we certainly don’t have our products made overseas like some of our competitors.
Collectively, Scentiments employs around twelve people to run the retail business and make products to sell in our own store and also to supply all of our wholesale customers, including garden centres and various gift shops across the country.
Buying from Scentiments, you are investing in our creativity and our passion. You are putting food on the table of the twelve people who work for us. You are helping us to sustain our dream and keep it alive.
What you aren’t doing is paying over the odds for a high quality product. You aren’t paying into a bonus scheme for multiple company directors and you certainly aren’t paying an unreasonable price for something we personally make ourselves.
Do the directors of these larger companies roll up their sleeves and get involved personally with the production of their products on a daily basis? Probably not 😞
Help us and all of your other local independent business survive and thrive by supporting us and we will continue to support our local and further afield communities by investing in and donating to good causes.
