Thanks to Holly, the lovely ladie who last cut my hair, unlike the other hair dresses I've being to over the years she atually listened to me :) gave me the straight trim I asked for, and ┬Ż8 cheaper than Oliver Dean's who is also a very good hair dresses in wakefield but ┬Ż33 for a bit of a trim is ridiculous!

Thank you so much to the staff at Scott Banks, especially Chris, the Colour Manager... I am very nervous about having my hair done and he/the team made it easy. I have had it cut in an unusual style, most would say no to doing (but Jill went for it and did as I asked) and then I had 10+ years of box dye stripped out; my hair bleached/lightened and a new temp colour put in. I swear my hair is actually in better condition now, when this could have ruined it, if done incorrectly... Such care was taken to achieve what I wanted and good customer service all round... Scott & Hayley came to do our hair the morning of my wedding a week ago.

I usually avoid the hair dressers like the plague (hate sitting looking at myself for hours in the mirror!) But I knew I wanted someone I knew and could trust with my hair on my wedding day. Scott is one of the loveliest people you could meet, he's honest and professional as well as being very personal. I felt in good hands after visiting the salon for my trial and left with lots of advice and shampoos for us all to use the night before.

Scott and Hayley arrived early to make sure they had enough time with everyone. Scott took care of myself and my mum and Hayley did my 3 bridesmaids. My bridesmaids had loose curls half up half down and my sister, maid of honour, had a bouncy blow dry. They all looked amazing & their hair styles remained in tact after lots of dancing into the evening! Scott gave my mum and amazing blow dry perfect for under her equally amazing (and big) hat! She was really happy with the result & enjoyed a good catch up with Scott.

Scott worked his magic with me, I wanted a low up do but my hair was too fine to be able to hold my veil and flower clips in place so Scott used clip in extensions to add volume and I couldn't believe how it looked once he had finished! My husband commented on my hair, more than once, he loved the style and how it suited every other part of our day.

Scott & Hayley you were amazing, thank you for your time, patience and generally loveliness! I felt lucky to share my wedding morning with you & would recommend you to everyone!!

I have used Scott's saloon for a number of years. It's a very welcoming place. It has a family feel. It's relaxing and staff could not be more helpful. It's is not a pretentious salon like most. But warm and friendly.

I had my hair cut and highlighted yesterday by Helen and I am very happy with it. I was extremely nervous having had my hair done by the same stylist for 20 years in Essex but I couldn't possibly drive all that way just to have my hair cut! I need not have worried, Helen made me feel very comfortable, listened to what I wanted and was very reassuring, checking with me every step of the way. I'll definitely be a regular!

Having never had much confidence in hairdressers i was sceptical and anxious today for my appointment.



I had completely ruined my hair using a chemical relaxer and gave my hairdresser James free reign in hope to salvage what was left of my hair. He worked his magic and I am absolutely thrilled. Not only was James incredibly professional along with the other staff I encountered but he patiently went through every product he used on my hair and showed me how to achieve the style myself at home.



I am so very grateful to Scott Banks and James for helping me after I managed to severely damage my hair at home.

Having had my hair done previously at other places and them messing it up big time i havenŌĆÖt been to anyone for over a year. I was super nervous about going anywhere else but I finally plucked up the courage. I would highly recommend Christian and he is worth his weight in gold! He listened to what I wanted from the consultation and IŌĆÖm in love with my new hair. I can honestly say this is the only place i will be going from now on. He has completely taken all my old horrible colour away and done an amazing job. Olaplex has improved the condition of my hair and kept it strong throughout the bleaching process. Holly cut my hair and made a fantastic job. I will be going to her for my future cuts/blow dries.

Had my hair straightened by Charlie last week Not only was he a lovely guy but was thoroughly professional and friendly all the time he was working.

4 days later my hair is STILL poker straight and has survived sand sea sun flights etc.
