Some nice bikes down Shears Inn Paris Gates this morning all raising money for charity

SO WITH OUR NEW 5 HYGIENE RATING.... THE NEW MENU & THE SCHOOL HOLIDAYS COMING UP WE COULDN'T LEAVE THE KIDS OUT . SO WE HAVE A FULL NEW KIDS MENU STARTING STRAIGHT AWAY 🌞🌞💪🍴 PLENTY OF SOFT DRINK ASWELL & DON'T FORGET OUR PLAY AREA & SAND PIT

We've been today for the family fun day, what a great day, the kids ate from the BBQ and the crave treat tent and us adults ate from the main menu. It was all delicious, drinks and food are very responsibly priced and the Sunday dinner was amazing. Will definitely be going again.

We have been previously and must say it's A lot better since the new management have taken over.

We stayed overnight. It was a basic room but so very comfortable with everything you need. Slept very well in a lovely bed. At £45 for one night it was very good value.

We had a nice breakfast and staff could not do enough to make sure we had all that we wanted.

Lovely evening meal in a very pleasant, warm and friendly environment.

Excellent selection of beer. Enjoyed our stay...a lot!

We came this teatime, 2 adults and 2 children

We thoroughly enjoyed the meal and would recommend tnis place. Service was spot on.

Was there yesterday everything great bread & butter pudding lovely

Was down here last night the pub is friendly and the service good the food very nice and fresh will be back

The beds are so comfortable we stayed for 8 nights & the food is awesome, all home made, would definitely stay there again 😊

Surprised my sister and brother in law here last Saturday 11th March for their wedding anniversary had a great night ....... i would highly recommend The Shears , fantastic food wonderful staff and host we all felt welcome and at home , may your business continue to thrive best wishes to you all ...........see you soon Dave

Stayed last night .can't critisise this place.second visit to this friendly inn.staff are brilliant . food is very good and a very good base for going into town.and lovely breakfast.round of applause for shears inn.

Really enjoyed the food I had here today was amazing definitely would go over again highly recommended it's a while since I've had pub grub that tasted as good as this did 1 best pubs I've been to in a long time

Lived in siddal for 3 years now and never been to the shears Inn, Wish id have come sooner! The food was incredible, authentic home cooked food, my hubby had mixed Grill which came out on a sizzle plate had all the meats, egg, blackpudding, and a massive side of chips, i had Cheese and onion pie and it was absolutly delish!! Even the kids enjoyed their food, we all left absolutly stuffed! ~Thank you

If like me you are sick of the big chain pubs taking over then get yourself to The Shears Inn!

Just been with my husband and in laws and my kids would deffently recommend me and my father in law had mix grill one of the best dishes I've had for a long while well worth the money and my husband had the beef lasagne and mother in law had a roast dinner and they said the really enjoy it hat's off to the chef it was fantastic

I stayed here for 3 nights and I would recommend this place to every one I can think of. Lovely meal and amazing staff. Next time I come to visit my family, I will sure stay here again. See you all soon xxx

Had the braised steak, absolutely amazing. The staff were really friendly. Recently moved into the area and looking forward to calling in again!

Had a lovely meal here last night, it was 8pm and the pub was very quiet, we got our meal it was hot, cooked well and plenty of it, 6 of us all different meals and all satisfied, staff very nice we will definitely return , the only thing was the pub was a bit chilly could have done with heating on, it got busier later with a nice atmosphere. Thank you

Had a great meal, we got there 45 mins late for lunch but decided to return for Tea. When we ordered drinks the bar maid recognised us from 6 WEEKS AGO she even remebered what I ordered... The food.. Oh my the food it's Amazing I had the pork platter and Katie Louise Mooney had the Lasgane, the landlord and waiting staff are VERY attentive but not overpowering. All in all for the money 2 meals for less than 20quid it's the best little secret we have in Halifax... 5stars because i cant give 10...

Great food, lovely setting and reasonably priced. A little gem tucked away - will return.

Fabulous 17th century inn - stayed overnight in a deluxe room very comfortable had a fab nights sleep - food was excellent and home cooked - breakfast was huge and the staff were attentive and could not do enough for us to make us feel welcome and enjoy our stay even going the extra mile if needed - would very highly recommend

Came here for the valentines menu with my other half and friends.

Been to the shears again tonight with my family the food as always was amazing the staff looked after us very well we will be going again in the near future

Been 1st time today in long time food was lovely as had sunday dinner the beef you got loads.

Beautiful meal very friendly polite atmosphere first time going we will deffo be back again got a lot for our money too think we found our favourite place to be eating out

People were very frirndly. Room was great & the food fantastic.

My husband and I had a 3 nights stay, up here to visit my brother. As a disabled person we realised that access was difficult due to cobbles and steps (I didn't research sufficiently) but on the plus side we got value for money with the room,comfy bed,shower not accessible for me as door didn't open wide enough and too high but we managed ok, therefore would recommend it to non disabled people. The breakfast was great but only a full English on offer!! Good service and friendly staff.
