Whether you want to train for fun or train to enter competitions we do it all at Shugyou, students enjoy training in our new dojo in Deanclough where we have transformed the old bandroom into a bright refreshing training area, with disabled access, disabled toilet, two changing rooms a large reception, and a bright new kitted out fully matted dojo. Come and have a look you won't be disappointed Students from beginners to international competitor's all with the same respect, humbleness and great attitude to work hard and achieve there personal goals

A reminder to all students we are back open after the Christmas New year break, Thursday is open grade affair Class is on 18.15 to 19.15

Don't forget two classes on tomorow please make sure you use them

Just so u are aware if you drive past the dojo tomorrow during the day and the a board is out don't worry a few of us will be there putting racks up for the kick shields and other equipment also the matts are been trimmed at the edges and carpet tiles been used for the border feel free to call in and help if you have a spare 60 minutes or even 30 minutes we will be there from 9ish won't be hard work but every little helps

Congratulations to Tim Watson and Katie Baxter who voted by the other students at class won best trimmed up students have a great Christmas

Fantastic club. Teaching Shotokan Karate to all abilities. Excellent teaching and coaching from the chief instructor, Sensei Nick, also support from higher grade students.

Everyone is made to feel welcome, including family members. I was an observer to begin with who ended up "giving it a go" and haven't looked back.
