Due to being quite the unique takeaway that We are, and only having a very small kitchen/establishment, we have to work twice as hard to keep our customers satisfied, however...
Sometimes we do experience HUGE back logs on orders due to the HIGH DEMAND for our food, especially on SUNDAYS.
... rather than compromise our QUALITY we often have to delay orders upto 2hours waiting times and even occassionally have no choice but to reject orders.
We try our upmost best to to make sure our standard of quality control is adhered to and everything is always fresh and piping hot when delivered to your door.
You may think this is not such a bad problem to have... But we hate to receive bad reviews (usually due to some of these issues which are currently out of our hands.
Our lovely dedicated staff work tirelessly to serve our customers (some of us 16hrs per day) and although one bad review out of 100's we serve, is actually amazing! it really knocks the team spirit.
We are currently changing over staff after losing a VALUED member of the team, this does entails hands on training and admittedly has resulted in the occassional mishap and a possible slip through the nett where our HIGH STANDARDS are required.
But you will be pleased to know we are quickly recovering. Please be understanding­¤ć¼­¤ć¦

Wow! I have been meaning to try this place out for ages and finally got the chance to go on Saturday afternoon. I had a beef Yorkshire pudding wrap with mushrooms onions and broccoli , and because I fancied mash I had mash and also beef in a trey . Meat is cooked to perfection . So tasty and it was so refreshing to see something like that around here and not just your average take away ... will be returning again thank you xx

Well ad heard all the hype and read the hype so a decided to see for myself... gotto say a thinks itŌĆÖs incredible, lovely food n nice courteous staff, had the pulled pork, yorkshire pud wrap, tasty and filling without been over bearing! Next will deffo use all the parts of build ya own, extremly impressed a massive credit to Nick n Sarah n the staff al deffo be trying everything from menu... top job people much love yŌĆÖall

We ordered a delivery to Kirkburton today, pulled beef and chicken Yorkshire pudding wraps and childrenŌĆÖs Sunday dinners. Absolutely gorgeous! Yes we had a slight mix up with our order but they were quickly fixed and the customer service and desire to rectify any problems with the order was 1st class. Our young children loved the food, very tasty and good quality.

So yummy the Wrap was packed full of Roast beef so much so there is some left for tomorrow. The toad in hole was also very tasty we will be back

Ordered the minted lamb Sunday dinner and no matter how hard I tried to find a fault, there wasnŌĆÖt any. It was amazing! Lots of gravy, everything was cooked well and hot on delivery too. Been wanting to try slow cooked for a while and IŌĆÖm so glad I finally got round too it’┐Į

Love this place, the staff are friendly and the food is lovely. The beef is absolutely beautiful. Kieron and Nick deserve all their success so far. Highly recommend ’┐Į

Just had the messy beast with the pulled beef, and all I can say is that it was amazing ! Mine was only the second one they have made. Only just managed to eat it, definitely not for the smaller appetite. Everything was cooked well and was delicious. 100% would recommend. Also the staff in the shop where lovely

Just called in for an impromptu birthday lunch with my son as we are snowed in today! Can highly recommend the pulled chicken and the home made chips are really tasty! Staff super friendly and a comfy and welcoming place to eat in if you prefer not to take out ’┐Į

I eat all sorts of weird and wonderful foods from around the world but the serving I got from slow cook was 5star I must admit. The aroma when you walk in just makes ones mouth moist. But when I bit into the Yorkshire Pudding wrap with slow cooked brisket beef, onions and mushrooms, my taste buds havenŌĆÖt encountered such excitement in a long time. Usually I say my mums somosas are the best, now next to that is a slow cooked wrap. This place is the best thing that as happened to Yorkshire in a long time, keep it up guys and good move with this niche product.

Hubby went out and called in here, full of beef and onions and still hot when he got home the shop is a good 20 minute drive away x kids loved it was amazing and made such a change to our usual Sunday night tea x

Called in tonight for my son to have a Yorkshire pudding wrap and he got a chicken wrap with his favourite VegeŌĆÖs and he loved it! Says itŌĆÖs the best Yorkshire pudding heŌĆÖs ever had! X

A wa' BAWLIN' down't road on me way t'werk, as ye do. Rockin' checkered flat cap on't bonce like a proud Yorkshire hobbit, a got mi'sen a real cravin' for some mighty rustic scran.



A saw this spot tucked away from't road over yonder, decided to 'av a gander an' wa' instantly chuffed. Eeh by gum, a went in't premises, gave em an "'ow do" and found me God's own't country accent got broader wit' each passin' second.



Spied mi'sen a right butty and a tin o' pop to sup from, so a bagsy'd em. Our son behin't counter, probably't Gaffer, served us up a right treat, no faffin' 'bout. Now't manky 'bout it neither. Price wa' champion too, "Eh? Ow much? Nay lad? Tha kiddin'?" a bellowed at upstanding gent.



'Appen 'al be round't this way again.



'Member proud't Yorkshire folk, tha Sunday roast in't jus' tradition, it be mandatory.

4 very happy diners this afternoon!! After discovering this place just yesterday, we had to try it. Well im currently half way through my wrap and loving it.



Was told up to an hour wait. Which I expected living in HD5. And on the night of little mix, I told her there was no rush. 45 minutes later, the food arrived and it was piping hot.



Great customer service. Definitely order again.

To be honest was disappointed wanted beef they had none left which was fair enough.. so had pulled chicken and my work collegue had pulled pork (both meats were cooked lovely but no flavour).. asked for peppers expected roasted peppers or even fresh peppers but they tasted like the frozen peppers you buy in a bag... the mushrooms tasted rubbery and the Yorkshire pudding was done too long in the press....definitely not worth ┬Ż6 you get alot better quality and quantity from Toby carvery for exactly the same price :(

Ordered via the app and ordered well in advance for a specific time slot, the food arrived nearly half an hour late but due to the weather i was expecting it to be a little late - the food was excellent apart from the yorkshire pudding wrap had obviously been left on the press a little too long and so was burnt in places - also when order placed it stated it would ┬Ż17 which included ┬Ż1 delivery vut when it was delivered i was charged ┬Ż18 so don't understand why - on the whole though great food and I will be giving it another go and hopefully can award more stars next time

All three of my wraps had no gravy when it was asked for, the guy behind the counter was more than happy to rectify this but unfortunately this resulted in the Yorkshire pudding completely falling apart when I tried to eat it and made a right mess! the meat and veg inside were lovely though, so was a shame. Constructive criticism guys so hope you donŌĆÖt mind :)

This experience went from bad to worse. After a 1 hour and 15 late wait for delivery (hardly other end of Huddersfield) 2 deserts that were ordered were missing, I got chips instead of mash.. al dente veg was an understatement and the chips were so greasy yet tasted undercooked. Delivery driver apologised but this wasn't good enough.. only good part of the meal was the minted lamb. Looked forward to this and it was a massive let down. Not happy and this has put us off massively
