The Slug and Lettuce, Leeds - right in the heart of the city’s financial district and just a stone’s throw away from one of the best shopping experiences in the UK. Over the years we’ve become a firm favourite for many, from office workers looking for that morning caffeine fix or business lunch, to weary shoppers in need of a relaxing meal and large glass of wine.

We really enjoyed it at the Slug and Lettuce, Leeds..Bank holiday Sunday and it was buzzing. We enjoyed a `few` cocktails, two for one, followed by some food. The sharing platters..It was a lot better than trailing round Leeds, in the rain. Would like to return soon.thank you..
Very nice pub friendly staff food and drink very nice will b back again.x
Really enjoyed it here yesterday. Lovely cocktails. Lovely food. Nice little bar. One bit of advice. Please staff check glasses. Mine had lip stick on. The lovely bar lady changed it straight away with fresh drink. Will be back
Me and my daughter came to Leeds for a day out yesterday and I thought the place was so welcoming the waiter was amazing food was beaut and the cocktails amazing. Will defiantly come back when we come to Leeds again x
Me and my daughter Nipped in after been to an appointment. Staff nice an friendly service, but food was excellent really tasty an fresh daughter had burger an fries I had linguine ( vegan ) would Definatley recommend
Lovely cold beer on a hot day. Service was good. Ordered food too which came quickly. Rice a little dry but overall good food and not complaining. Would go again
It was a great place friendly doormen and staff and a great place I would definitely come again
Had cocktail afternoon tea with my daughters for my 50th - absolutely gorgeous, delicious and fabulous - staff were wonderful too! You must definitely try this and a bargain at £15 a head �����
Had a lovely late breakfast 4 May with my daughter & had a few cheeky cocktails 4 her birthday.Lovely food lovely staff v well looked after.
Great atmosphere. With Best Mates. Never seen a pub in London this crowded on a Saturday afternoon.
Didn’t have any food, but what we saw going by looked pretty good. Went there with a friend over from Germany to have some drinks. The cocktails are 2 for 1 when you buy two of the same. Was a really good deal. The cocktails were made well. Will be back again.
Brilliant service staff were so helpful helping to choose which drinks we would like more based on our preferences good atmosphere would recommend

Just had drinks so can’t comment on the food. Great value 2 for 1 on cocktails all day nice atmosphere however toilets needed sorting
Myself and my friends visited last night. We had tried to reserve a table earlier in the week as we wanted to eat, but had not had a response. On arrival we were told if you hadn’t had a response you haven’t got a table. We ended up having a light bite at a very small table by the door. A shame really as we would have spent much more of we’d have had a proper table. A shame really as we were really looking forward to it.
Lovely friendly staff. Just the food let it down a little. Other than that was a lovely place. sat under aircon as was very hot yday.
Will go back for drinks if in Leeds again.
Stood at the bar for ten minutes all the bar staff ignored me so I walked out.
I am a great fan of slug and lettuce in other towns but today really did baffle me. I am pregnant and have been craving a pina colada! I asked if I could have a pina colada without the rum but was charged for a normal cocktail. Surely 8 pound is too much for some fruit juice and coconut cream? I was told I could have any of the 3 mocktails on the original menu but I would have to pay full price for a virgin pina colada. What baffled me even more was that slug and lettuce in Huddersfield had no problem making me a virgin pina colada and charged me for a mocktail. Surely if you are a chain all bars should offer the same for their customers?
Very none helpful had to move tables as we could not eat at the table we sat at a very rude boy said no you can’t eat there when I asked for a menu so we waited and swapped tables then they wouldn’t get us drinks when we where eating food as they where busy the response I got was go to bar its busy in the end got drinks ordered and still waiting wouldn’t recommend waitresses very stroppy and I wouldn’t come here again still waiting for a drink 10 minutes the bar staff are the rudest I have ever come across not helpful at all
