TOMORROW 'Friday Night Jive' presents... Klonk - fabulous gypsy funksters stirring up a Klezmer revolution! These merciless, rabble-rousing bohemians awaken your primal instincts with their foot-stomping Eastern European dance riot. FREE ENTRY - 8PM DOORS - THIS FRIDAY

When someone told me they'd re-done Bar 122 as a sort of forest, I thought 'naff', but it's really not. It's quirky and fun, and like being at a summer festival but without the mud and rain! All the best bits of Bar 122 remain - great live music, good beer, fabulous handmade pizza. And the not-so-good bits seem to have been sorted - yes, it's safe to go into the women's toilets, hooray! I had a fantastic time at Friday Night Funk and I'll certainly be back... And I'll try out the Tuesday Acoustic Night some time soon. :) (Just a little plea for some more comfy seats for old fogeys, please!)

Up and coming with a relaxing unpretentious atmosphere. 5x�

Reasonably priced drinks, great staff, able to order a lovely Bar Maroc pizza, quirky seats and decor, loads of free live music, what's not to love?

Played here while on tour with my band the Green Rock River Band. It is such a hidden paradise! Pizza, good beer, passionate owner and great crowds. The whole place drips with atmosphere and smiles!

Performed here and it was lovely. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

Absolutely Love it. Great Music , Great Beer , Fabulous food in Bar Maroc and makes me feel like I'm in Morroco or India. Then there is the re-invented Bar 122. Its full of tree stuff and it feels like Middle Earth , Hobiton , Narnia. Its a magical place and a superb quirky venue. I found out that a young woman called Megan is the mastermind of the design. Megan you should be really proud of what you have achieved. StevO and the crew were amazingly hospitable. Very few places are this magical
