St Catherine'S Church Centre

Huge thanks to Emma (and all her Facebook friends!) for all the wonderful donations this morning, it left our Volunteer Coordinator completely speechless (which takes some doing!). We also want to thank KC Design House, Kolorcraft and other individuals who brought lots of food & goodies in during the course of the morning, we continue to be stunned by the generosity shown to our Foodbank, Thank You so much <3

We're really looking forward to this next weekend. Do come and join us. (It's free, but there will be collections, which will go towards 'The Children's Society'.

We've had some wonderful donations this week. Thank you to everyone who has been so generous to our Foodbank, including Morrison's (Bev), The Street Kitchen project, Nuffield Gym, Walton Primary School, Sarah Southerington & all those who have called in with bags & boxes..you are all our heroes!

A plea for milk! We're down to our last 2 cartons of milk and our Food bank is currently seeing approximately 40 visitors each day so we're really struggling to keep up with the numbers. If you can help us is any way we would be very grateful <3 Thank You

st Catherines work in the communitv is wonderful and without the food bank alone many adults and children would be in dire straights. you need to come in and spend a little time in the cafe and find out what goes on there it will cheer you and warm your heart. Its a wonderful place with amazing people.

The work done by the food bank is so important in the city of Wakefield, such a needed resource. It's also a beautiful place to worship, meet friends and eat at the cafe

The men and women at the centre are always welcoming. The food bank is amazing and really well worth supporting.

St Catherine's is a great place it helps everybody so much with its food bank and its help to different groups with its rooms and activities it is more like a community centre and its cafe ,plus the staff are very helpfull

I will disclose fully, I am the centre Manager at St Caths. I love my job and the difference we make to people in distress. I feel honoured to be in the job I am. I am hugely proud of my staff team - they do incredible things above and beyond. They are amazing (I use that word deliberately). My staff team rock.

I love the place and it the best church i been too and they are so helpful when you need and the staff friendly

I love reading about the work of your church and centre. I really hope to visit one day, especially the cafe! I think the food bank is an invaluable resource for the local community. Congratulations to all who work there for your hard work and commitment.

Been to St Catherine's Church and Centre many times over many years. Visited as a worshipper, as a guest to the centre, brought work colleagues and volunteers and couldn't speak more highly of the place or the people who run and deliver the services to the community.
