Parents - as a celebration of the Tour de Yorkshire children may wear something that is either Blue, White or Yellow tomorrow. If they don't have anything in these colours then they must wear school uniform. We hope that you understand that the celebration of the TDY isn't an excuse to wear fancy dress or football kits etc.

Our little award winning choir singing in town today for the Tour de France Director Christian Prudhomme and the 2016 Tour de France winner Tommy Voeckler. Don't forget to join us when we get to watch the stage pass though Pontefract on Friday 3rd May.

Due to unforeseen circumstances the running club will not take place tonight. Children can go into homework club until 4pm could parents please collect them as soon as is possible please.

Remember on Friday we are raising money to adopt a tiger with WWF. For £1 children can wear something orange, black or stripy (no uniform). Children will also get a drink of juice and a biscuit at playtime. Let’s see how much money we can raise! Thank you. The Junior Leadership Team.

Advance notice to all parents. Friday 3rd May school will close at 1.30pm. The Tour de Yorshire men's race is due to pass through Pontefract at around the usual closing time making travel by road very difficult.

After School Clubs - After Easter. These are all available to sign up to and pay for on Parent Pay. The uptake at the moment is very low. If numbers do not increase some clubs may need to be cancelled. If you are having any problems signing into your Parent Pay account please contact the school office.

Could we ask parents to save any small boxes like variety cereal packets, Nursery would like them along with any fabric scraps and spare buttons. Remember we are a "nut free school" so boxes cannot have previously contained anything that has nuts in.
