Hope you can join us on Easter Sunday - 8am Communion Service. 10am Family Communion service with our Junior and Senior choirs. Despite the cool weather the church is warm, welcoming and full of beautiful spring flowers arrangements. All welcome and refreshments served after the service.
Are you joining us for Stations of the Cross at 10 a.m. on Good Friday? Families very welcome so bring the children along. Hot Cross Buns afterwards in the Parish Centre before we begin the Churches Together Walk of Witness. We walk down Church Lane, up to the top of Main Street and then on to St Benedict's. We finish with lunch of hot soup and bread buns in St Benedict's Parish Hall. Hope you will be there!
Brilliant service at 8 o clock today ! No priest so Carol Ross conducted short form of service and some emotional singing from brave singers who struggled to get there ! Well done to the fabulous 9 members of the congregation ! Big thank you to Carol ! We couldn't see the join !!
It was very special to welcome Green Lane Academy Choir to St Mary's Church Weekly Coffee Morning today. They were lovely and it was very special to see so many people who came to support them AND enjoy a coffee and chat !!

It is with regret that Junior Choir is cancelled today. Let's hope for better weather next week. Please remind friends that next Wednesday (7th March) is our last rehearsal before we sing at the Mothering Sunday service on Sunday 11th March - 10am.
There is a Churches Together faith lunch (bring and share) for Lent today at St. Benedict's from 12 noon. Good food, good conversation and very friendly people! See you there?
