Well worth a visit, has had lots of improvements made, and is a good day out. There is a cafe by the canal which is handy for a cuppa before or after a boat trip too. Wishing you every success in this new venture.

We held our wedding at the Visitor’s Centre and oh my word, it was magical. The room is beautiful, and so flexible. The team is so supportive and want to do everything they can to give you the day you dream of. Nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wedding venue, we couldn’t have wished for more. Thank you Sam, Jenny and team, you were amazing X

Something the kids have never done before. Had an amazing time learning some history. And the tour guy was brilliant kept us all entertained.

My best friends got married here recently and it was brilliant. Sam couldn't have been more helpful and you could see he really cared about the night going well. All staff were great, friendly and polite and anytime they were asked to do something they were prompt and professional. A wonderful venue I will definitely recommend.

Had a wonderful day today at the visitors centre and a trip through the tunnel. The two men who took us through were fun and very informative. Will be back to do the longer trip. Thank you

Great visitor centre with the added bonuses of outdoor and indoor play areas. Lovely cafe and gift shop.

The 30 minute boat trip was superb - you can’t fail to be amazed at the construction of the tunnel. Our boat guide Howard was very friendly, knowledgeable and great with the children on the boat.

Great experience but a shame that no mention of lack of canal trip at 1.00pm due to wedding also visitor centre seems to be only half open. Grandchildren not amused by 90 minute wait on a quiet day. Would have been helpful if info was on website or Facebook.

Visited for the first time yesterday and it was lovely. Weather being nice we parked up and went on a little adventure up onto the Moor. views are amazing all around especially at the top. had a little picnic on the grass just off the carpark.

Not great on parking as only a few spaces but luckily we managed to get parked straight away. as it got busier people were struggling a little.

Fab day out, and plenty to do for the grandchildren to do. The tunnel trip was amazing...... says my husband. Will definitely go back.
