I am about to pop my out of office on for Christmas, but before I do, and as I clearly have too much time on my hands, I thought I'd leave you with my year in numbers:
* 32 weddings shot, 2 more to go, 1 attended as a guest (great opportunity to annoy the hired photographer and drink too many glasses of prosecco) * 25,344 photos delivered * 30 venues ... * 408 hours editing photos * 10 wedding fairs attended * 1,000 cups of coffee drank * 800 minutes dancing at wedding discos * Getting hit in the face by a football - once * Getting pooped on by a bird - once * 1 destination wedding * 5,000 cheese related jokes told * 13 photos taken of my own foot * 4 times I managed to get the DJ to play Africa by Toto
Aside from a couple of weddings during the days that no-one actually knows what day of the week it is, I will be out of the office until 3 January.

With three more weddings booked for this year, I’m not quite hanging up my cameras for Christmas just yet, but I wanted to take the opportunity to wish all my fabulous clients and fellow wedding suppliers a very merry Christmas and a wonderful new year.

A fantastic pre Christmas day out. This was my second tour with Mark, I definitely recommend his tours. Having no clue when it comes to beer, it’s was nice to find beers I really like and will no longer avoid at the bar because I’m frightened they will taste like ‘feet’. Basically I’ll avoid anything too hoppy in the future and go for chocolatey or coffee flavours. I like the dark stuff!

Ever so often it's fun, and important to take a day out and brush up on the old photography skills. Yesterday was one of those days.
Along with other cracking photographers and talented suppliers, I got to spend the day with the fabulous Becki and Matthew from All You Need is Love Photography and Matthew Kitchen Photography respectively, improving on a few lighting techniques over at Best Western York Pavilion Hotel.

In September I shot Stacey and Joe's wedding celebration at Yellow Arch Studios in Sheffield. They had said their vows in the Arizona Desert a few weeks before. They insisted that they didn't need me to accompany them for their trip, what you gonna do? How can I compete with the very talented Amy Bluestar Photography ?
Their wedding story has been shared over at Easy Weddings. There are some photos that I took at their wedding celebration after the achingly beautiful shots taken in the USA. To be fair, the desert is awesome, but how cool is Yellow Arch Studios too?

The little mister and I got caught in the rain at the park sandpit earlier. Feeling pretty miserable and soggy we contemplated the walk home, but then the sunshine came out and this happened. A few weeks ago I popped over the Pennines to The Deaf Institute in Manchester for an engagement shoot.
The couple picked this venue because it’s where they met. If you’re struggling to think of locations for photo shoots, picking a place with meaning to you both is a good place to start. It doesn’t have to be a traditional location or even outdoors. I’m kinda pleased it wasn’t an outdoor shoot anyway as it was drizzling.
I absolutely cannot wait for their wedding next year!

We want to say thank you to Steph for capturing our day in the most perfect way. From the beginning Steph has been friendly and professional and really grasped what we wanted from our photos, she talked us through the process answering all the questions we had. On the day she made everyone feel at ease and was particularly brilliant with an elderly relative of mine during the group photos. Her style of photography meant the people who would usually hide from the camera were caught in the most relaxed and natural way. We've recently seen our finished gallery and are extremely pleased with them all and look forward to the completed photo book (once we've chosen our favourites). Thank you again :-)

Thank you for capturing our wedding day so perfectly, Steph. It was an absolute pleasure to have you there and I'm so glad you were recommended to us by the hotel. Even though I was too hectic to meet you beforehand with all the planning and what not, you were so easy to get along with and fitted in perfectly on the day. The pictures we've had so far I am absolutely in love with and I can't wait to see the rest. Thank you so so much again - can't rate you highly enough � x

Steph was the photographer at our wedding. She was amazing and took fantastic pictures. I don't like staged photos and Steph took very natural ones which captured the relationship between me and my husband. She was discreet at the church and venue but managed to capture every aspect of the ceremony.



We also paid for the photo booth which was a great idea as guests loved it. We were able to custom the frames around the photo booth so added pictures of loved ones no longer with us. One thing that was a criticism was the size of the photo booth, only two people could get their faces in the main frame anyone extra had to stand in front which hid the photos etc.



Overall we would highly recommend Steph white photography as a wedding photographer.

Steph was amazing! Her photographs capture the both the fun and the love of our big day perfectly. Just the right mix of formal and candid shots. She was warm and friendly throughout the day, stayed until after our musical act had performed (fantastic photos of that!) and really put us both at ease about being the centre of attention all day. Overall a delight to work with.

My fiancé and I met with Steph yesterday, and couldn't wait to sign our booking form. Steph is such a kind, lovely girl and her work is an amazing reflection of her personality. We had such a good afternoon chatting about our wedding plans and Steph took a genuine interest in our day. We can't wait for her to be a part of our day.
