Type R Japanese street food. 5 stars. We tried the full menu, it's top class and superb value..... Highly recommended.

Such a unique interior makes for a lovely atmosphere add in some tasty food a spot of live music and I’d say it is my favourite bar I’ve been to in a long time. Definitely worth a visit

Nice music good singer good beer and spoilt my furbabies with iced water what more can you ask for�

Lovely place. Plenty of speciality ales, lagers to choose from. Food great as an extra.

Lovely lady on the bar, beer was great! My only criticism is the price, but I won't stop going, really enjoyed �

Just having some food from pop up kitchen "The Allotment" great and the best onion rings. All washed down with a pint of dark.

I go a few times with my dog, went last night for some food, it was absolutely gorgeous, id reccomend it to anyone

Heard good things so me and my friend popped in yesterday on our lunch and I was very impressed! I got the ‘not a dog’ chilli which was amazing, my friend got ‘virtuous’ as she is vegan there’s not always a lot of those options at food places. I was happily surprised at the quality of food and lovely friendly staff for the price! Would definitely recommend and will be coming back!

Great pub n selection of beers. I think should do flight, thirds of beer wanted to try more but was driving. I will be back. Maybe do meat n chessboard to go with the fantastic beers

Di’s Pies all I can say is amazing as a family we tried the steak, steak and Stilton and lamb, mint,potato. I will be making visits to the shop in west vale for more. My top street food from Stod fold so far !

Been twice and cannot fault the place food and beer has been exceptional

Been meaning to try this place out for ages and finally got round to visiting ... it’s amazing!



Fabulous � and the pop up kitchen (different chef in residence every two weeks) is a genius idea.



We visited when type R Japanese were there, it was delicious!

Been here a few times for a drink, but never tried the street food ( which apparently is a different every 2 weeks). So last Friday decided to try this weeks offering-burgers. Had the Holy smokes Batman doubled up ( Godzilla’d ). We were just about first customers to order for the day. Watched the staff make the burger- fresh. Not generally a big fan of fries, but these were quite tasty. The meal was more than adequate size and the burger was great. The staff were all friendly and the choice of beers is impressive. Would definitely recommend. Great little pub. My wife had the same, but we will leave just the one review �

Cheap food, portobello mushroom dish, just 2 small white mushrooms, not much flavour. One walnut! 2 little pieces goats cheese.French fry over salted. Poor.

Called today to try the street food. Although the burger itself was tasty (not the bun or other filling) it was small and the fries were very dry. Was disappointed and can honestly say very over priced. Godzilla burger was like ....really a Godzilla????? Erm never in my lifetime. Shame but other businesses offer better and bigger and better value in the Dean Clough area �
