Went to the pre launch last night the place looks 100% better after the refurb the staff were very welcoming the food was well cooked and tasted amazing plenty of filling in the meat feast calzone and all fresh ingredients well worth a visit.

Massive thankyou to the staff for arranging us a table for 15 yesterday at very short notice. We'd booked elsewhere for my nan's 80th and upon arrival finding they'd massively over booked with 3 other parties surrounding us and not enough room for everyone to sit. Anyway after a very nice meal at the Wellington and some quality time with the family, it was safe to say my Nan had a perfect birthday � xxx

It’s the first time we’ve been since its revamp, had the carvery and I can honestly say it was the best carvery I’ve had for a very long time, the food was hot and delicious.

I think this is by far the best car very i have ever been to. I went there yesterday and it was amazing apart from my mums 1 hour wait for her pizza. I think its amazing and not to far away from my house ❤️❤️❤️

I went here with the family thinking omg daire I chance it after the last ordeal where I just hated being there but anyway I thought I would give it 1 more chance to my surprise it's had a full make over nice lay out and new table's pizza bar sweet the lot I thought oh I think I am going to enjoy a meal today .think what really spoilt it was the carvery the heat of it just drys everything up and finishes it of for me but staff was a little helpful tho

visited on the 29th at 18.30. After ordering it took 50 mins to cook a burger for my wife. Having chased a few times staff disorganised most looked scared of there own shadow when questioned. Manager seemed disinterested in the delay, serious lack of customer care. No urgency about him at all. When I had my food from the carvery it was dry and cold, was keen on waiting further so put up with it. Others suffered delays and just walked out. Need to get a grip of service and standards.

Waited 15 mins to order, waited 40 mins for

Food but was on the work top for over 5 mins

Before server brought it over, unfoŕtunately

She dropped two of the dishes so ate what

We could. Food was tepid and had to return

The chips (cold). Then the rest came out

To be fair if it all came at the same time

And quicker it would have been ok.

Lots of complaints and monies returned

To disgruntled customers.

I had a moan, but they were understaffed and

Unexperienced.

Dont expect me back again.

Not in a blue moon.

Went to pizza and Carvery today and I'm not happy the amount of flys that was on the food and walls was horrible . As we waited for Turkey the flys settled on the food so I couldn't put much on my plate. I couldn't just walk out as my daughter is autistic and doesn't understand she settled for an ice-cream. I think some kind of health and hygiene should visit as the amount of flys wasn't right

Thought we try the food at this place and I wasted £30 on AWFUL food. I wouldn’t waste my time coming to this place because you’ll be waiting hours for you food to arrive & your food will be uncooked

The worst experience ever. Arron the manager at the Stonehouse Pizza and Carvery restaurant on Wetherby Road was extremely rude and abrupt this evening.

I went to the restaurant with the people I support who have learning difficulties. We ordered our food. After a wait of 20 minutes one of their staff members came to tell us ' they no longer had any of the items ordered from their starter menu. We chose something else. After a further 10 minutes another member came to inform us they didn't have any more pizza dough. So We ordered a burger instead. The manager Arron took the buzzer away with him, so we had no way of knowing when the burger would be ready. At this point I'm sure you can imagine the frustration on the faces of the people I was supporting.

The main meal that two people had ordered almost 45 minutes later came and to my astonishment came before the starter. At this point one person still awaiting the arrival of his starter. My main meal wasn't even the correct order. I explained this but the waitress stood looking very dumbstruck like I was saying something to her that she couldn't fathom. I suggested if I could have some chilli to put on my pizza, which by the way I'd paid an extra 50p for in the first place.

The waitress went away and came back shortly with a bowl of jalapeños. Obviously not what I asked for but I was grateful.

After a further 13 minutes the guy waiting went to ask ‘ how long before his burger would be ready. The manager said he had been buzzing for 10 minutes. The guy I support said to Arron (the duty manager) "I didn't have a buzzer because you took it away with you"

Arron was silent for seconds.

Sitting down to eat only to find that the burger wasn’t warm. I now went to address the matter with Arron.Expecting Arron the manager to be willing to sort this problem out quickly with no hesitation,Instead he became very loud waving his hands around shouting. " I don't care if they have learning difficulties,I Won't be changing the burger and I'm not refunded your money either. He offered to reheat the burger. He tried to imply the burger was served 20 minutes prior. Which was totally untrue.

I tried calmly lowering my voice to save any further embarrassment, explaining the guys have learning difficulties and were becoming anxious, upset and not to mention starving at this point.

The manager obviously had an audience who he was clearly playing up to. He really behaved in an unprofessional manner.

We left leaving the burger on the counter.

So many people walked out complaining for other things. A few people saying they were appalled at what we had endured.

Well sadly we will not be returning and I pray no one else ever goes through the same experiences we have.

Ordered a pie, went to get pie told that didn't have any, so had carvery, chips were ice cold. Stupidly ordered the terrys chocolate orange pudding, to be told there wasn't any after I'd paid. Asked for the waffles instead, told it was on the way, then told they didn't have any of those. Couldn't organise the proverbial knees up in a brewery!

Me and my family visited for my Mums birthday. We also brought my Grandad as he is staying in England for the week with my family as he lives abroad. On arrival our tables weren't sorted properly. Had to squeeze everyone in a corner. There were 19 of us. My Mums and my sisters buzzers didn't go off to tell them there food was ready so by the time they went to look it was freezing cold. They forgot to put my pizza in. When my pizza came it was very undercooked. The pepperoni pizza left a horrid taste in my mouth. I had already shown my ID to a member of staff behind the bar (it was a photo on my phone as I forgot my ID) the next time I went up for a drink they refused my ID on my phone. Once we complained about the food we could clearly tell the bar staff and chefs were talking about us which made us all feel uncomfortable. All in all we will not be returning.

Im sat here right now, ordered a Carvery went up and the food was dried up, tasteless food, place is a mess with empty plates all over tables!!! Only thing good about it is the outside looks cleaner with the new paint. Thought id give it a second chance with the revamp but i can assure you i Wont becoming again and wont be recommending it to ANYONE should be embarrased with yourselves

If i could give this place -1 stars I would. What a disgusting place and set of staff.

I witnessed people with learning difficulties being demoralised. Their support lady ridiculed and embarrassed. The food was disgraceful, with several plates either cancelled without our knowing, food coming out freezing cold, or the buzzer service not working due to the manager (which I believe his name to be Aaron) taking the buzzer away.

I am appalled at the way he spoke to me and my party let alone the party that we sat next to. This place seriously needs a change in staff and management. A better chef and definitely some customer service courses. I will never attend this establishment until the staff are changed. I hope no one endures what I’ve witnessed and been through at this circus.

I have been to the Wellington loads of times for a carvery i went with my mum and dad for there wedding anniversary and i have to say we was very disappointed they was very little on the carvery loads of flys on the walls very of putting and will not be returning and will tell everyone i know as well

Then garlic balls arrived - no garlic covering thank god as they where just dough uncook by alot!!

We got a carvery

1. Not much veg option during the week cabbage or carrots

2. Yorkshire puddings where frozen still (ice over the middle)

3. Turkey was greasy

4. Beef was pink (some people may like but i like to be cook near brown all the way through)

5. Gammon - this was salty and look like pink tongue

6. Roast potatoes- rock hard could smash a window

7. Mash ok

8. Stuffing nice

9. Where the veg and mash is the spoons to pick up myself and friend couldn't touch them as they where boiling and burnt us!

10. Manager didnt come and apologize

11. The ladies where very sorry about our experince

12. No chocolate cake or cheesecakes on the menu so removed alot of the desserts

13. deco is alot better but food is terrible

14. Toilets freezing - very unclean

15. Need to i.d first as did not i.d until drink was poured

16. Order brownie & choc chip cookie as it was free from not getting order right - sour milk!!!

Awful experience never again will I eat or drink here. Went in had to wait a while to be Served as the 3 members of staff at the bar where all new and training still they where helpful and apologetic for been slow. There where 4 of us eating 2 carverys 1 pizza and a burger. First of all when I went to get the carvery there where no members of staff around to serve or look after the food this is probably why it looked like it had sat there all day the turkey was all brown and dry steak&ale pie just a crispy shell. There where fly's everywhere which put me off. Anyway had to go back to table as waited 10 mins and nobody came to serve the meat. Went back and when they did they was getting a fresh turkey out but said I had to have the one that had been sat there all dried out luckily there was a few people in the que who said they couldn't serve that a lady complained to the manager and the whole carvery section was refreshed meats veg gravys sauces. The member off staff that should have carved the meat did not like that we could have the fresh turkey she was rude loud and ended up storming off. When the burger turned up it should have been a double but arrived as a single with 2 topping instead of 1.that had to be sent bk and the first burger was left in a warmer while they cooked the second one this made it chewy. To say the area manager was in at the time as well as the pub manager it didn't seem that they was bothered that people where not happy the manager actually left while we was there at 3 even though his pub is falling apart he also said he wasn't happy with his team as when he walked in they was all outside smoking.this is not what I want to hear when people are supposed to preparing my food and serving customers. Something needs to be done here and fast!

Absolutely shocking! the other reviews say it all.... went for breakfast at 9.30 nothing out apart from crumbled up fried bread,1 x hash brown, dried up beans, died up bacon, cremated sausages and 1 x old fried egg. Staff informed me "what do you expect its 9.30" so got a refund and left.

Absolutely disgusting service. This is the second time I have been this month and the service just got worse. The first time. I got my hot meal and I wanted salad with it. There was NO salad. I asked for some and had to stand and wait for 20 minutes for them to cut the salad up. Disgusting. Tonight I came for a meal with family (8 of us) for some food to celebrate my son's 12th birthday. The bar staff told us it would be an hour hour wait. One and half hour later we got called to get our food, only half of it was ready so then got told we would need to wait at least another 20 minutes for food to cook. Absolutely disgusting. We have 4 children who were starving, including a screaming 2 year old who needed feeding and taking home to bed. We complained to chef who had a disgusting attitude problem towards my mother. This ended in a massive argument with my father and the chef. So at 8 oclock on a school night (after leaving the house at half past 5!!) We have had go home and cook!!!

Do not go and eat here. U will be charged over the odds for rubbish food. And even worse service!!!!!
