We stayed in one of the yurts at the weekend and can’t say a bad word about it. Absolutely amazing. The place, the staff, the site are all great. Can’t wait to come back.

We just had a lovely stay here and im converted to camping, just the right amount of facilities to feel you are camping but still able to have a nice shower etc. I loved sharing the field with chickens and sheep... the view is brilliant and right by where we wanted to walk around the very beautiful and unspoilt Buttermere.

The price was great and enjoyed the breakfast that you can get at the Same familiy owned farm tea shop. They also have amazing ice cream made right there from milk from thier cows.

There is nothing more you can ask for : Fantastic location near the lake , river crossing the campsite , stunning views , numerous hiking roads nearby, clean facilities...

The Syke Tearoom is a must in the morning It offers the best breakfast around , and the apple pie is almost as sweet , as the ladies who work there . Looking forward to visit again very soon

Stunning location, astonishing views. Facilities are basic but adequate. Friendly sheep and chickens. Range of pitch possibilities. The shelter or bothy is great for cooking if the weather is being 'interesting'. Lots of DoE kids when I stayed. However they were well behaved, although do tend to wake up early.

Stayed in the yurts here (family of 4). More than adequate space for us all. The double bed is so comfortable and the futon single beds had no complaints from my two boys. They are fully equipped with towels, toiletries, board games to make your holiday easier. The toilet/wash facilities are a little walk away but the views are so stunning it didn’t cause a problem at all. The Syke Farm Tea rooms (on the campsite) is also a must to visit! The most amazing homemade cakes, pies and ice cream. They also serve breakfast if you don’t fancy cooking yourself. Was impressed that they cater for most dietary requirements too! All in all a little gem of a place. Would definitely recommend it.

If you would like to explore the Lakes and stay on a beautiful, quaint site I can definitely recommend here, it is so pretty, their sheep roam free on the site which shows how quaint it is, loved it and will definitely return.

Booked in for 2 nights, customer service great before booking as I was originally going to change my days which they had kindly allowed.

Arrived on Saturday, found a perfect spot on the site, I had a great view. The site toilets and shower are of a very high standard, similar to what you would find in a swanky Hotel. Location is perfect for exploring.

Jessica was so friendly and great customer service, I thought I had forgotten a towel and Jessica was going to try to find me one to borrow until scatty me found my towel. I also decided to leave early to get back to work ;-( and Jessica offered to refund me the night but I was happy to pay as I stayed til 4. I would recommend visiting their Tea room too Syke Farm Tea Room for breakfast but they do much more than that, friendly staff. This was my first time camping alone ( no other humans, I had Honey the dog for company) and I was made to feel very welcome.

I can't stop myself coming back again and again I just love it here. Been staying here for the last 13 years and the place just keeps getting better, with the new furnished toilets and showers. You can now get your ticket from Skye Farm tea room without bothering the farmer. Dog and family friendly The Bridge Inn is not to far for great meals and local beers.A great location just take a walk/scramble up fleetwith pike and you will see why the view was one of Wainwright's favourites.

Great basic campsite, lovely tranquil setting, great breakfasts athletes farm as well, defiantly return.

Fab camp site in a gorgeous place and also has an amazing cafe at the farm which belongs to same family.
