Tails 4 Trails

Today, I had to make the hardest decision of my Tails 4 Trails career.
Due to health reasons I am having to hang up the Tails 4 Trails leads.
It is not a decision that has come lightly and I have been battling with it for around 3 months.
... I would like to take this opportunity to thank all my clients, old and new, along with anyone who has shared, liked or commented on last posts.
I have had the honour of caring for an amazing array of dogs over the years and have fond memories of each and everyone of them.

Very interesting, this is one of the reasons I don't use harnesses on the Kelpies.

My other business, Miss Needle Noodle, has received 50 Likes and I am really happy with all the positive feedback I have had.

Its so hot, the fans are on, the windows are open, the main blinds are shut and it's still warm.
We have frozen yogurt and blueberries in the freezer. Hoping they freeze soon.

Good Afternoon All
It's another hot one today with temperatures currently at 33° AND CLIMBING!
I took this video yesterday, temperature was 28° and this was a road, a Tarmac road, the pavement was the same.
... This is the surface that your dogs bare paws would be walking on if you chose to walk them when the temperature is so high.
Now ask yourself this, would you walk bare foot on melted Tar? I know I wouldn't.
Having researched this, Tar begins to melt at 50° FIFTY Degrees! That is the temperature of the Middle East. Would you put a fur coat on, no shoes, no socks and jog round the desert? Again, I think not.
Today I have seen more than 10 people walking dogs when the temperature was 31° it's just not right.
I have attached a signs of overheating picture with this video so please look at that too.
REMEMBER: A dog won't die from missing a walk but they may die from being walked in hot weather.
