BIG ANNOUNCEMENT No, your eyes are not deceiving you, this is The Apple Tree Sweet Shop. As you all know the shops have been up for sale for some time and we have been having a big reorganisation of our businesses. This is a really positive thing but as the saying goes ‘you have to break a few eggs to make an omlette’ so, this is what is happening, we need to have a better work life balance and we need to run our businesses more effectively so we are combining the sweet shop and the toy shop into one space. Don’t worry you’ll still be able to buy a quarter of sweets and a Jellycat toy! The new space will be closed today but will reopen tomorrow. Thank you for all your support, we really couldn’t do it without you 🍎🌳🍬🏠

We are looking at our use of plastic so after we have used all our plastic carrier bags we will be using paper instead. Of course we have always served our sweeties in traditional red striped bags and now we are offering them as party bags. So from Now on you can choose to order your sweetie treats in sweet cones or paper bags. We can also personalise the paper bags with a special sticker just like we did for George’s party recently. We have lots of sweet cone orders this weekend! They are £1.25 each buy 9 and your 10th is free! If you have children with dietary requirements we can cater for Halal, vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and sugar free just let us know. Cones can be made to match your colour theme and come complete with fabric ribbon not that horrid curly stuff!! We can usually fit in last minute orders too. This has meant that Robert has been taken out of the shops for the time being as he works to get it done. Myself and Emily have been working hard to support him and to run the shops but it has come to the time where he needs us to help him prepare for the next stage in the renovations. Lovely people and a lovely shop! Ordered party cones for pick up. Everything ready on time. Showed around the shop by a member of staff, some really lovely sweet treats. Great communication. Looking forward to using this company again x

I visited for the first time today and could have come away with a quarter of everything!!! I've also come away with lots of future purchases in mind for birthdays, Father's Day and just for treats!

I love this shop. It's a great place for picking up a pressie when you're stuck for what to get and the staff are always really helpful and willing o offer advice on what they can recommend etc. I've also bought party bags from here and they were reasonable and arranged well in advance of my party and the guests all loved them!

I can really recommend chocolate eclairs. Keiran sneaked me a few down to Beadelicious. X

Best place I know of to get all those sweets you remember from when you were a kid. Recently got my Midget Gems to take back to the States. The young man behind the counter was very attentive and helpful. Hope his dreams of one day going to the States come true.

Absolutely loved this sweet shop. Lovely friendly service. The sweet variety was amazing, and fresh. Will definitely be back
