Buy an extra round to keep you going through the Entertainment and busy intervals. BAR TABS - open a Bar Tab at the Bar and receive a coloured Wristband for each of your Party allowing them to put their drinks on your Tab. Please note, all tabs must be settled at the end of the night and we require a debit/credit card to be left behind the bar as security. We attended a Christmas Party Night on Saturday and it was fabulous! The food was lovely, we all loved the sharing plates for starters & desserts, and the chicken main course with potatoes & vegetables was excellent. The service was very organised and highly professional. The music was great, a combination of a band, The Psycho Slinky's, and a DJ afterwards. All 8 of us had a wonderful evening and would highly recommend the Party Nights.... in fact we are going again on New Years Eve! Well done & Thank you Halifax Party Nights! �

Truly had a brilliant night at the Arches. The staff were pleasant and attentive, the food was good, the live entertainment fantastic and a casino too. Had lots of laughs and very sore feet from dancing the night away. Highly recommend for parties. Thank you for an awesome time �

One of the best New Years Eve celebrations I have ever had. The staff were welcoming, extremely efficient and courteous. This was my first visit to the Arches. A superb venue, the atmosphere was brilliant. Great music, and the Psychoslinkys were amazing. Everyone on our table commented on the excellent quality and quantity of the food. One very slight niggle was a door which let in the cold every time someone went out or came back in. Lovely lady, obviously to do with the running of the venue brought us a heater to combat the cold. An EXCELLENT evening at a venue I will be going back to!

I have been twice this year. Once to the Beir Keller night which was great fun and New Years Eve which was amazing. The food, staff and venue are superb and my husband won the Casino night which was great fun. Please pass on my compliments to the chef.

I have been to 3 events now at The Arches, and have enjoyed all of them. One was a comedy night, the other was a Ball and the last one was a Bavarian night. What a fantastic venue. I love this place! I am seriously looking at having my next big celebration here. Think it is a perfect venue for weddings too.

Fab night at the Arches. Massive venue with zillions of party goers all having fun. Despite the huge numbers food hot and lovely, service brill and a really festive atmosphere. Security were friendly and helpful too. Really great party place.

Came here for our Christmas party and had an absolute amazing time. Service was superb. Staff was very polite and the food was delicious. Missed my stuffing though ;) ... The band was amazing and the atmosphere was fantastic.. Couldn't have asked for anything better. Would highly recommend your venue. Happy Christmas to all from ward 8c / 8d @ CRH .

The place was nicely decorated apart from the wall we were looking at by a fire door, which resulted in photos that could have been anywhere and not particularly Christmassy, but the food was lovely, the chicken was moist, the potatoes and veg were fine although far too many sprouts and nowhere near enough carrots, with only 1 slice per person, I alone could have eaten the entire quota for the table Trying to fish the few beans and cauliflower florets out of a mound of sprouts was not easy, but other than that, the only complaint I have is that for a table of 12, consisting of 2 parties of 6, there were only 3 of anything, which would have been better with 2 or 4 to save sharing with strangers. We assumed all 3 sharing platters for the starters were the same, but evidently 2 were meat and one, nearest to the other party was veggie! Whoops! Again 3 sharing platters for desert and 3 bowls of veg!

I can see how much easier it is to manage with sharing platters, but we all wanted more of the sticky toffee pudding, no one was bothered for the cheesecake or brownies, so an option prior to the event would have been far better for us to give a normal sized portion instead of 1/2 a bite sized piece each! Just missed mince pie and coffee to finish!

We had a very good night the band was good and we danced the night away, but weighing up the overall cost of the evening, including taxis, we're glad we went, but will go back to a more local hotel next year that did a very good meal, with a choice of starters and deserts plus coffee and mince pies slightly cheaper, still with a band and disco but much more convenient, only requiring taxis one way. Thanks for a good night.

Had a good night the supper was lovely and plenty was given the place is nice but we was cold need to sort some heating out I had to end up putting my coat on

This was the second year we have been here for works Christmas dinner. The venue and entertainment were amazing, but unfortunately let down by the food. Starters in particular we're poor, not enough to go round, and limited choice. Didn't enjoy the main either....the chicken was dry. The desserts were an improvement on last year, but again there wasn't really enough to go round. Disappointed, and probably won't book next year unless the menu improves.

Rated in the middle as the bands we went to see were 5 star but the staff are barely worth 1 star and the beer rates zero. What happened to the 5 real ales they had on last year. Replaced this year with one pump serving pale crap.

Food was a major disappointment compared to last year. I had no starter as i didnt like anything which was on the share platers, there even wasnt enough deserts for everyone....unless you all liked sticky toffee pudding which not alot of people do. Portions yet again were small and not exactly going to satify the hunger of most (i know not for me) put it back to how it was last year where you can choose what you wanted for starter and desert also the portions....then it might be worth the £35 per head....also everyone will actually have a 3 course meal!



As always the band and entertainmemt good. But the night was only great because i was able to spent time with my friends. We will be going elsewhere next year after giving you guys a second chance. Also dont think my friend would be too impressed with you guys deleting her post on her views of the night....not exactly professional.

Deco wasn't all that. But atmosphere was great but I guess we created that :)

Food was delicious. Especially the deserts.

DJ was ok but the band was very good.

Casino tables where you played for fun.

It got very warm in there. All my colleagues were complaining about this.

Came last year for christmas and we had a brilliant night, so decided to return this year. Was a total let down, too many tables cramped in together, way more than last year. Which made the dance floor VERY full we couldn't move. Food was also a let down, starters we got 1 slice of bread each and 2 small pots of pate between 11 of us!! When we asked for more bread we were growled at, was brought 5 slices (I say slices it was the ends) to a table of 11?? Main was ok again not much to go around. Puddings were horrible picked at it but left it. Left feeling hungry. 3** are for the band, amazing! Won't be coming next christmas time for somewhere new �

We had our late Christmas party on the 14th Jan...the venue is very good however



very poor choice of food .....the DJ who I might add sat down at all times did not seem interested in where she was at all and a very poor choice of music if you were over 50 then you were catered for....same with the group something like you would see in the 60s ...seems to be what I suspect was a hostess but no interaction with any of the guests. all she did was go round collecting glasses



Sorry Arches......I hope you take this constructively

We came here last year and had a great time. However, we were really let down this year 2 hours we were seated for a three course meal. Not enough to go around and the main was awful really dry and no stuffing or Yorkshire puds. Service at the bar was appalling one of the girls was more interested in talking on her headset and had to ask me three times what drink I ordered. My friend ordered a cocktail and was huffed at. Tables were crammed in hardly any space.

Band were amazing!

Great band however starter, main and pudding was a little bit of a let down with dry food and small portions - toilets were crammed and the staff appear to have been In a rush and slightly rude.

Certainly would not recommend to others. The potatoes were dry and hard and whilst making the complaint, staff were quickly trying to take our food away. Also, being told its normal for veggie options to come out when the rest of the table has almost finished eating is ridiculous. I've worked many events over the years and that is not acceptable! Management were rude and unprofessional.
