cane here on a weekend visit, and went to the fun day at the pub.Lovely place and very friendly. Would definitely visit again

We went in after a lovely meal at PAX burger place. Great atmosphere with Karaoke..and it seemed the Lindley Football team. Bar staff were great and had a superb night.

We have been a couple times on a Monday tea time lovely food and very nice and polite staff lovely pub

The best local pub, all the staff are so welcoming and friendly. The food never disappoints and the new festive menu is fantastic x

Only just moved to the area and the black bull is just down the road, a lovely welcome the food was lovely apart from ordering the garlic bread (only 2 slices) but overall I felt welcomed and enjoyed several pints.

Came back again today to be welcomed by the manger Steve who remembered me which is always nice� think I've got a local Thankyou to the black bull✊�

Lovely afternoon spent in here. Staff really really lovely and the gin menu is to die for x

I had lunch here with my mother, it's a lovely old pub with fabulous decor, very cosy! The food was great. The only fly for me was the television in every room, it would have been nice to be in a room where we could just chat without the noise!! But will definitely be going back!!

Had a lovely meal. ...very welcoming. ..very clean. ..we will return! And the big plus is. ..it's one of those sensible pubs what let dog's in! ���..

Great local pub with beer garden for when the sun � shines. Reasonably priced food and some real ales also reasonably priced. Easily best pub and restaurant in Lindley.

Came for a family meal, food was amazing! Even though the place was packed the staff were really attentive, didn't have to wait long for drinks or food even though it was a Friday evening. Food was delicious, I had the chicken and mushroom pie with mash, the pie was deeply filled and creamy and the mash was really filling. Desserts are just enough and are lush! Can't wait to come back and work my way through the menu. Would highly and definitely recommend it

Been a long time since we have eaten here. Called last night for dinner. Really lovely feel about the place. Cosy little candles lit everywhere, helpfully staff. TV for sport which impressed my other. Most of all the food was amazing. The lemon and garlic sauce with my steak was the best. I highly recommend the Black Bull for drinking and dinning and will be returning soon.

went for a drink to our local the black bull and was welcomed there,nice atmosphere I noticed it had been refurbished to a high standard too..as it has been a while since we were there.We may try the food on our next visit.

Good atmosphere and nice to see a busy pub. We ordered burgers (2 for price of one ). My husbands was lovely. ... double chicken burger. Mine was dry and over cooked. Salad was limp. Bread was dry. And we waited 40 mins. Didn't complain cos didn't want to wait another 40 mins for replacement.

Didn't like the fact that when I requested to have my pint of strongbow topped up as it was about 2cm from the top my request was declined and I was told by the member of staff that is where his manager had told him to fill till as there was a pint mark on the glass. Yes there is a mark on a slim strongbow glass but that mark states that the glass is a pint glass not a line indicating where a pint would be filled to on an oversized glass. This system of under filling glasses ensures the establishment end up saving a pint for approximately every 10 pints they sell. Nice customer service ! More like day light robbery.

The carling in there is shocking flat you ask for it to be put in a carling glass they have non (what) we used to be good regulars not anymore and were not the only ones

Booked a table for 10 people at 7pm Christmas Eve. When we arrived at 6.55pm the table was occupied by non diners. We were told they were sorting it but by 7.30pm it was no where near ready. They shouldn't have taken bookings on Christmas Eve as the pub was rammed and they quite clearly couldn't cope.



On the plus side my family have eaten there a few times before without complaints but Christmas Eve was a total let down.
