What a great pub atmosphere is fab and the wow
Went to see tom petty tribute here. Great atmosphere. Will be coming back. Great place x
We had a fantastic time at this friendly local hangout on June 5th. Thanks for making us Yanks feel so welcome and letting me sit in with the band on harp. There was a lot of great talent on tap. I look forward to jamming with you again someday.
Visited Leeds for the first time in 20 years and of course had to check if the Duck and Drake was still going. A bit smarter than it used to be, but still the same great old pub. Still got the step that trips you on the way into the bogs too 😆
Very friendly staff that always make you feel welcome. Great selection of real ale. Brilliant music. Love this pub.
Love this place.. always friendly and welcoming, great ales and a fab beer garden. Best feeling sitting in the sunshine, with a pint and chatting with friends
Leeds’ finest array of cask ale is served to perfection here in unpretentious surroundings.
It's a "must" in Leeds. Great and REAL pub. Tasty pints of local beers and good vibs. What else? 🍻👍🎶
Great music venue and pub. Lively atmosphere and friendly staff. Always a pleasure to play here 😊🤘
Excellent choice of beers and a bloody good pork pie.
Best pub in Leeds. Love the beers, ambiance and art in this place. The landlord is a great champion of beer and deserves to be commended.
A must visit for train spotters of good real ale pubs. Good live music, dog friendly and a beer garden up there with the best, for a city pub. 10/10
good traditional back street boozer hubby luved the real ales as per. decorated with murals artists of bands..very pleasant,
Probably one of the best kept secret beer gardens on Leeds - if you like it hot get yourself down it’s a right sun trap. Good selection of drinks but it’s not as cheap as you might think given it’s location at the tail end of Leeds. 2 pints of decent cider and 2 premium gin and tonics £20.70.
Great real ale and blues band pie and peas not so good cold pie and peas were more like soup
Always been a great boozer but went yesterday to see Motor City Blue and my oh my do you know how to charge for drinks !!! £4.50 for a bottle of Bud, most real ales were at least £3.50, some over £4. Might be a LS1 postcode but it's not a wine bar so cut the prices. Maybe it's the Harrogate Blues Bar connection...?
The lager is constantly flat and over priced. On a plus side, the music is it’s saviour
Still a good pub but certainly not the place it used to be. Beer quality is average at best, whilst the prices are just plain ridiculous. Most ales are now over £4 a pint, and a pint of Heineken cost me £4.85 tonight, that's just taking the p***...
